The bride (and sometimes the groom) say a prayer to Mary during a Catholic wedding ceremony. When is this done? After the ring swap, before the Prayer of the Faithful, when?

If women were allowed to be married to mreo than one man, and vice versa men allowed to marry more than one woman, wouldn't this reduce cases of infidelity and improve better family relationships?

Im getting married at the start of next year in a small registry office do. I want a song to walk down the aisle to but im stuck for ideas. All i know is that i really dont want a hymn type song, rather a romantic ballad type song but all the ones i think of are so unfitting (lady in red, wonderful tonight etc) as im getting married in white in the afternoon!! Please can anyone give me some ideas?

Thank you!

I'm not getting married anytime soon, but a friend wondered and got me wondering too...

How "correct" or "incorrect" is it to send out a mass invitation to a group? For instance, one invitation to invite the entire staff of the clinic where I work. Obviously you'd have to keep in mind the number of people you're inviting, and though its less personal, no one feels excluded and you save money. I'm sure every case is different, but is there a yes or no answer to this?

My daughter and her boyfriend have recently become engaged. He lives in England ,and she lives in Wales, with us, her parents. The dilemma is, she really wants to get married locally, and the vast majority in the wedding will be our family and her friends. He has a small family, and the issue is, that his mother is suffering from ME. In think he's worried that she won't be able to make it. 5 years ago my son got married and I was too ill to attend owing to depression. I would not like to see anyone else miss out. However, is it fair to even consider having the wedding where my son inlaw to be is from? I know it wouldn't be the same for my daughter, and it would cause a lot of anemosity in our family. His mother could even be too ill to attend if it was local, as her illness is so unpredictable. I can do without this. Seeing as we would be paying for the wedding and the majority of guests are on my daughter's side, what do you think please?

we could do to make our wedding magical and memorable. Thinking about small personal touches rather than big things. Just I'm planning my own yet I've only been to one, I feel a bit lost as I have nothing to go on for inspiration.
