Handel: "Silent Worship" - also called "Did you not see my lady?" - I think this is perfect. Alternatively, Handel's Largo, also called Ombra mai fu. For the first, a good tenor would be best, for the second, either a tenor or soprano. To find a good singer, contact a choirmaster/organist of a local Church of England (many of the other churches don't have choirs but rather "music groups", so they will probably not know where to contact any really good singers, lol!!) If you are not really that fussy whether the song is sung live, just use a CD and a good sound system.

I have performed at many weddings and I have found that "highland cathedral" on the pipes going down the aisle is very chilling, but at the same time very romantic. It has always went down very well! If you can find yourself a piper for a demo listen and see for yourself Wont be a dry eye in the house (in a good way)!

Savage Garden has a lot of good love songs-also, if ure into country music, it should be relatively easy-try some of Brad paisley's songs, or maybe Cross my heart by George Strait

I know it might sound cheesy but how about All-4-one I Swear. The lyrics are very appropriate for a wedding (for better or worse till death do us part i love you with every beat of my heart). Or how about something classical so you don't have to worry about inappropriate lyrics- you don't have to use the wedding march theres a huge range.

My Mother Recently went to a wedding where they played "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie - that's Amore" as the couple were signing the Registra. She said it sounded awful and out of place. So not that . . .

Lets get married - The Proclaimers. Unconventional, but the words are good. Our register said he'd never heard anyone use it before, but how appropriate it was. Now my sister can't listen to it without crying!
Enjoy your big day!
