Yes I did. I really didn't want anyone making a huge fuss over the whole thing. Thing that sucks is that my daughter who is 20 did the same thing to me. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, I regret making that decision. I feel like I had taken away from me the chance to see my baby get married to the guy she has loved since she was 14. I would have loved to have been there.

Me and my husband got married in Vegas and didn't tell our parents until our second wedding which was in my home country after a year. My parents didn't get mad because we were already married again.Abit complicated but it happened like I got married, then engaged, then married again! That was fun:)

My mom did. She went to vegas with her boy friend. My lil sis and I were the only ones there. Everyone got pissed, but my mom had been married 3 times before so what did it matter if they got to know before. They knew it would come sooner or later.

friends of mine did- I was the "best man" told her Mum at lunch - his parents at dinner that night - wedding was on his birthday; both had been married before

I did and come to find out from my husband his mother didn't want us to get married..........none of his family did. Yet he's the one who messed up our marriage.
