They will pay you as little as they can get away with.

Contrary to opinion, people in fact do buy used wedding bands. My sister went to study in Russia and was told to wear a gold band as though she were married because at the time Russia was so bad that once the guys found out she was American, they'd be all over her wanting to marry her and come back here. My sister (wisely I might add) went to a pawn shop and paid next to nothing for a gold band.

Her thinking? Why pay alot if you don't have to.

It suited her needs and yanno the rest ....blah blah blah

Just don't get your hopes up that you're gonna get the actual value of it or even something closely resembling the value, it's not going to happen.

It's scrap gold, they'll throw it on a scale and give you the weight value. If it's a wide band, I'll guess $30. Narrow band, $20.

About $4-5/gram as scrap - nobody will buy a "used" wedding band.

Next to nothing. One time my friend pawned her $2,000 wedding ring (huge diamond) and only got $235 for it. I'd say try eBay first.

Ask them. Probably about $25. For my first marriage, when I sold my ring after my divorce, I got $10.00 for it. But it was 14 k gold.

get the band weighed. I should think at least 50% of the value

Not much, they only buy gold for the weigh of it.... so even if you have a beautiful hand carved design on it- they don't care.

I would sell it on eBay....
