THAT DEPENDS ONLY ON BOTH OF YOU. RELIGION IS SUPPOSED TO UNITE PEOPLE EVEN IF THE NAMES ARE DIFFERENT. TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE MAIN IDEA OF BOTH YOUR RELIGIONS IS REALLY THE SAME AND LET NOONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE. BE SMART, YOUR MARRIAGE LUCK DEPENDS ON YOU!!

I think you and your partner will be very happy. A friend of mine is Hindu and partner is protestant, they have a lovely marriage and have had for 25 years. They do not insist on each other becoming involved in their religion and appreciate when they do.
They haven't forced any religion on their children and live in harmony.
As should all people in all religions!
Good luck and you will never know until you've tried it.

The person which will said to you that he has a recipe for a happy marriage is lieing. Allthow there are some few elements poeple use to apreciate. It doesn't what religion have you or her as long as you both are accepting each other believes.
If there will be understanding and you and her will be sincere, ther will be more chance for you to built your future together.....

Looks like the marriage is alreay not working.....you have all doubts, what has marriage to do with religion. Religion is your personal path to God. any path to God is right. There is no single path i hope you know that! Marriage is the commitment of friendship in life to retain our individulaity and respect for our differences. If you have accepted her with all her differences then what is the worry, the whole problem starts when we start changing the other. Remember no one changes. We are all programmed to be unique. Appreciate her uniqueness! A piece of heaven can fall on earth if you follow this rule in marriage.
Sameness in marriage is boring, variety is the spice of life. You get to celebrate many more festivals and events, celebrate life! Do you love her with all he differences?

I am in the same situation(He:Hindu & I: Christian) and I believe all will be well. Just dont worry about religions being something that divides. Worry about the mutual affection, love, and respect for each other... hope this helped a little... take good care

If you allow each person to be themselves and not try to impose some aspect of your religion on the other then all should be well.
Well apart from all the other things that go to make up a good marriage.

Religions do not decide marriages. It is attitude, understanding and compatibility that decides the happiness of the couple in the long run.

It is the two of you who can either make your marriage happy or sad. Marriage is like a plant , it has to be nurtured too and taken cared of.
