Hi Katy! From my own experience gunge is cold and slimy, but it feels so sensual when it flows over your hair and shoulders. If you feel up for it, then go for it!

Gunge may stain though, and even if its for charity, your wedding outfit may not be worth the price. Offer to get dressed up some other way though eg. summery dress & heels, so you still feel really sexy when your gunged, but its less bother if it damages you clothes then.

It's a great idea as long as you're ok with the fact that it may not be OK afterwards. Gunging someone who's wearing a wedding dress is gonna draw a lot more attention & bigger sponsorship than just getting gunged in a old pair of jeans and a t-shirt or something like that! DO IT!!!

Are you crazy £1500 dress ruined for a thrill.

If you want to really know what it feels like do it before or after the wedding.

Don't be tempted by friends daring you.

It's a special day. Look beautiful. Gunge Yuk!!! Could think of nothing worse. Remember there will be other people there who wouldn't appreciate this new craze of gunging.

Well it would depend on what they are using for the gunge? They use all kinds of things in these tanks. I have heard of stories of people hair getting ruined to the point of haivng it shaved off to clothing being ruined. I think it might be fun, but I don't think I would wear my expensive wedding dress. Maybe you can wear something else? Or strip down.

I don't know what gunge is, but what a waste of money to spend that much to ruin a dress that you are supposed to wear on the most special day of your life.

Are you independently wealthy that you can afford to buy another dress if this one gets ruined? If your parents bought this dress, is this how you thank them? Are you already married and know you'll never wear this dress again? Do you think your daughter would never in a million years want to wear your dress? Are you prepared to have people laugh at you and not with you? Is the group that asked you to do this going to give you something just as valuable in return?

Think long and hard before you do something that will only give you 5 minutes of "excitement"

eeek no! gung is horrible cold stuff that will stain. a wedding dress is meant to be something special that you will keep for the rest of your life as reminder of your happy day, you don't want to look in the closet and see a stained and ruined dress do you? what does that say about your special day?

why on earth would you want to do that?
why spend all that money for a beautiful wedding dress just to spoil it with a silly prank,
and in answer to your question, yes gunge does stain and you would regret it for ever.
wouldn't you rather save your dress for future use, if and when you have children you could use it to make a christening gown or maybe save it for a daughter to wear on her day, it would be really special if you were able to do that, so don't be talked into doing something that really could regret later.
