Actually, all you do to change a wedding invitation into a reception invitation is to replace the word "wedding" with "wedding reception."

Also, you'd use "the pleasure of your company" for a reception invitation, rather than "the honour of your presence" which is for a religious wedding ceremony IN a house of worship.

Easiest way is to go to a local copy/print store like Kinko's. Kinko's can print up a sample of the invite and if anything is wrong with it you can have it corrected that day. No worrying if you are getting invitations with errors. And no time wasted sending them back to the printers. Go to Kinko's with what you want to be printed and they will work with you on your choice of font, card stock etc.

A friend of mine and I are the "party planners" of all our friends big events. (We are thinking about branching out and opening our own party planning business). We get all of our invitations made at Kinko's. It is much cheaper and the invites are always a hit. Usually that is the first thing said to us when we see a guest.

if you have a printer you can go to almost any craft store and get the card stock and make your own in what ever colors and fonts you like.

They have a lot of different designs and suggestions for wording. I ordered my Save the Date cards from them and thought they were reasonable.
