I had a old routemaster to transport guests to the church and to the reception which was kida querky for us.
As long as you have a good bunch of people there you will have fun. Weddings are costly, even when done cheaply!

If you are in the UK, youhave limited options for where to get married, so....
Why not have a wedding weekend, instead of a wedding day? Have seperate hen/stag do's Fri night, followed by a lie in together, and pre-wedding lunch with your bridesmaids and parents. Get married late Saturday, and go straight to your party with everyone you know. Have your wedding breakfast actually as breakfast with family Sunday morning. Sunday lunch with close friends, Sun eve just the 2 of you...
Play around with the idea, see what works for you.
This means you can play around with all kinds of themes and fun, and means you can cater for everyone. And you know how everyone says "my wedding day went so quickly"? Not you...

You could always get married at your local bar.
Also try your local...
--post office
--swimming pool
--sporting event
--park
If you want a no-fuss wedding, grab the dress, the groom, a minister and head out to wherever you want to go. Invite people to join you, and leave it at that.
