There are so many aspects to getting married and i swear i am on info overload right now! I have the huge binder seperated into sections, from contracts to dresses. I have samples of invites and magnets, swatches and ring designs. Monogrammed towels to mongrammed outfits cover the wish lists. ARRGH! I wish i could just scream! Pushy cousins to seat placecards, presents and guests lists. All of my conversations deal with it, and the funny thing is, the wedding is over a year away. How did you or are you handling the stress of planning your perfect day?

Hi--I am in an ongoing bet here-- GIRLS- who would you rather be with- a 30 year old handsome male doctor who is fit with a nice body and makes 200000 a year, or a 28 year old hot male model who is buff and makes 25000 a year? Please base answer off just this info--nothing about personality--just if you had to pick one from what is said above

...sell her wedding dress on e-bay the day after the wedding?
Seriously... why is she made to feel she has to save it forever. And, why does she pay so much for it.
Wouldn't it make much more sense for her to rent the wedding gown and him to buy the tux -- after all he can wear the tux to far more places than she can the wedding gown.

My fiance and I are getting married early 2007 and have decided on pink & blue for our colors. Most people say WTF? Why pink & blue? Pink & Blue have extreme significance in our relationship, so that's why we chose those colors. What we are trying to figure out is how difficult is it going to be to pull off a pink & blue wedding? For the blue we are talking Navy Blue and just a soft pink color. Does anyone know of anywhere online with flowers in both of those colors? Do you know anyone that has ever used these colors?

My boyfriends family really doesn't like me, and I don't necessarily love them. So, what should I do when I get married to my boyfriend? I DON'T want people that I don't like to attend my wedding, but they're his family and I'm sure he'll want them there. What should I do? ( By the way, I KNOW that they'll criticize everything about my big day. That's the BIGGEST reason why I don't want them there.)

Pros and cons...
I know these are both months technically considered "off-season" for weddings, but I'm choosing these months because of the availability of certain flowers and colors that I want. I'm asking because maybe I'd get another perspective I hadn't considered.

I am in the beginning stages of planning my wedding. It's going to be about a medium to large size wedding. Do you think I should hire a wedding planner or would I be able to handle it on my own? Keep in mind that I am not working and have a lot of time to plan this. Any help would be grateful.

I read a statistic that says the average American wedding cost $22,000!!! Why do people go overboard with weddings, especially when 40% of marriages end in divorce? It is a special day, but is it wrong to have a simple wedding and maybe put money towards a new house or a nice honeymoon?
