No- traditionally, the veil is on before the "kiss the bride" part, then it is lifted back & stays off your face

It is really up to you. I had a veil and a tiara so I took my veil off after there ceremony and keep my tiara on for both the ceremony and reception! It would really get in your way at the reception site. Just make sure you tell your hairstylist this so she doesn't make it so you can't take the veil out without taking your hair down. Good luck and congrat's!!!

No, it is not necessary for you to wear your veil at the reception. You can just leave it to hang behind on your head or you can take it off completely. Its your choice and whatever makes you feel comfortable. If you do decide, be sure to put it in a safe place so that it won't get lost.

Every wedding I've been to, the bride had the veil on for the introduction of the wedding party, and the wedding couple's first dance. Not covering the face, of course. Most of them ditched the veil either right before, right after, or during the dinner, before they got into the serious partying.

No you don't have to wear your veil after the ceremony, but put on a big smile and enjoy yourself.

No not at all. Lots of people take the veil off after the ceremony. That would be fine to do, its totally up to you. I wore mine but that was just my personal preference.

No. However, I did wear my veil and I had it already lifted when I walked down the aisle as I had a hard time seeing with in on my face.

The veil fell off as pictures were taken and then I didn't care anymore.

Its up to you.

I plan to take my veil off after my first dance at the reception. We will be doing our first dance right after we're announced at the reception.

Whichever you decide, ENJOY THE DAY!!!

No, I'm not even wearing a veil at all. It's so ugly!
