To me flowers were right up there with really important part of wedding. My mother made all of our flowers and they were silk because I wanted to be able to keep my flowers and nobody could even tell that they were even silk! My bouquet alone cost about 150.00 - 200.00 for just the materials. I have my pictures on my 360 page if you want to look at the photo album. The flowers were beautiful. But that is something that guests look at!!

$ 800 tops.
A pretty bouquet of fresh flowers will cost around $ 200, a couple of modest BMs bouquets $200, three boutoniers $ 150 and one center piece for the main table $250.
Use ribbons and silk flowers for the church and use something other than flowers for the table centerpices.
Congrats and good luck

To me, flowers weren't that important. Think about weddings you've been to in the past. Do you remember the flowers? If the centrepieces were flowers, I remembered...otherwise, they did not have that big of an impact.
I actually made my bouquets for myself and 4 bridesmaids out of silk flowers and to mine, I added jewels that I found at Michael's Arts and Crafts store. In the pictures they look real and I actually got positive feedback about how beautiful they looked. And now, my bridesmaids and I have another beautiful thing to remember my wedding with.
Good luck and contrats to you!

Some will spend thousands. I am only spending hundreds because ours are going to be silk. The thought of spending tons of cash on something that is going to die in a few days befuddles me. They look nice, but for half the price you can get silk flowers, or even go with potted plants. It is really up to the couple though.

I am IN and I just went to the grocery store (Krogers) and ordered 5 dozen roses at 12.99 each (3pink and 2white) and had my aunt make 3 bouquets, 5 corsages, and 9 bouts and with the flowers and supplies it all costed $77.
I could've spent more, but I didn't feel it was necessary.

depends on your budget. some people don't get flowers because they cost too much. personally i spent $1500 on flowers, which including the centerpieces for 20 tables, the reception hall, an arbor with flowers on it(outside wedding), and some flowers on the cake.

not a huge amount, as the cost of hiring a venue is extortionate in London, so I am having to cut back on some areas, just so we can have a nice place to get married. I would say about £100 max for my bouquet, I don't intend to have bridesmaids. Button holes and corsages are not expensive.
