i am getting married in oct 07 and my colors are choclate and pink. we were thinking of doing a candy buffet with pink and brown candies. is this cute or cheesy?

They've not been getting along the last week or so. They are at the moment, but I have a feeling it isn't going to last much longer.

We're getting married a month from today(!) and it seems every time my mom thinks about me moving out (still live @ home) she starts pointing out his flaws. And they either aren't true at all or over-exaggerated. Anyone been through this recently?

Keep in mind that I can't just yell at her to get my point across; she's had a stroke and couldn't handle the stress. So that leaves me stumped as to how to deal with her sometimes.

I need feedback. My BF talks about engagement rings here and there. Usually when we are in the car and it's not really expected. He often asks things like what shape diamond I like, what type of metal I like, etc. Would it be in bad taste to go to adiamondisforever.com and send him pictures of those I might like? I'm pretty simple in taste and honestly, I could care less if there were a diamond at all but I'd rather wear no ring at all than wear something I didn't like. Am I being stupid about this?

My parents are divorced and have been since i was 3. My dad is remarried but my mom is not. And growing up my mother was never around. She never came to see me on bdays or anything. Didnt even go to my graduation. and my dad and stepmom hate her for that and she hates them. but my question is this. What do i do about inviting all 3 of them to my wedding? Im afraid that there will be a big fight. I mean my dad didnt even go to my half sisters wedding cuz he was afraid my mom would be there. I haven't got a "best friend" that I would want to ask to be the best man at my upcoming wedding. My fiance will have a bridesmaid, and her step father will be walking her down the aisle. I have asked my daughter if my grandson could be the ring bearer. Is it Okay not to have a best man in attendance. My fiance and I want to register at a honeymoon registry site, where our guests can pay for parts of our honeymoon as wedding gifts. I bought my dress on clearance at David's bridal.... so I am not about to blow $200 on a veil from them! I have been looking around, online and different stores.... but it's hard to tell the quality until you actually get it. Can anyone recommend a place or someone they really liked?? I am looking of an ivory veil- just a one to hang behind me.... longer then shoulder lenght... and drops pretty straight...no puffy stuff. And a large (tall) rhinestone princess/queen type tiara. Can be from 2 totally different places...

i'm going to the wedding (ceremony+reception) of my bf's co-worker. the ceremony will be in a church, and the reception is at a golf club: http://www.morgancreekgolf.com/home.html

the "official" dress code are:
Ladies - Long gowns or cocktail dresses, or a dressy pant suit
Gentlemen - Black and white tie invited. Suit, or jacket and tie

my bf will wear tie+shirt, maybe no suit. i'm a 24 year old, and i just don't know what to wear to the wedding! that would be my first time to meet my bf's boss and co-workers! i have to show up pretty! pls help!
