Both parties need to compromise a little, so, ask him to choose three locations and you choose three locations and maybe you will have a match!

Since you are in CA a beach wedding is nice, there are beautiful parks all over CA, or if you don't like outdoor, look for a beautiful old church or an old house that is used for receptions. There are many Bed and Breakfast in CA also, if you found one large enough your guest could stay and you could have the wedding where everyone stays.

You could always honeymoon in Vegas as a compromise also!

Good luck, and my almost 10 year marriage advise is to not worry too much about the wedding and work hard on the marriage! I wish you many happy years!

I always thought that having a wedding in las vegas would be tacky, I have always dreamed of Disneyland. but it is too expensive & extravagant for the number of guests. So I decided on having a Vegas wedding & Disney honeymoon. I researched it & they have really nice romantic. not at all tacky wedding through out las vegas. I suggest you look things up & see what you like maybe you can find a place you like in las vegas. Ok well congrats & good luck.

Well, you guys need to come together and decide where you both want your wedding to be. Remember, it is HIS wedding as well, and he should have a say--as much as he wants. My husband just wanted to know where to be and when, and what he was supposed to wear..LOL. If he has strong feelings against a place, then it shouldn't be there, and if you have strong feelings against a place, then it shouldn't be there. I don't know if you want to have it indoors or out, or if a destination wedding is even an option. There are many lovely places to have weddings, and the most important part is not where it's happening, but that you 2 are making a lifetime commitment to each other. Best of luck to you both!

Definitely go to Vegas and be married by an Elvis look alike. Weddings are supposed to be fun, I think that would be a great memory for the two of you to share.
