I bought my dress on clearance at David's bridal.... so I am not about to blow $200 on a veil from them! I have been looking around, online and different stores.... but it's hard to tell the quality until you actually get it. Can anyone recommend a place or someone they really liked?? I am looking of an ivory veil- just a one to hang behind me.... longer then shoulder lenght... and drops pretty straight...no puffy stuff. And a large (tall) rhinestone princess/queen type tiara. Can be from 2 totally different places...

Ebay!!!!

I got my fingertip veil with silver edging from an Ebay store for $15. It was secure on the comb, a sturdy soft fabric, and looked just as good as the veils I've seen in the bridal stores.

My tiara had pink crystals and pearls around a leafy silver design, and I got that for $25 from ebay.

Best of luck!

yes, definitely stay away from David's on that. I actually bought my veil from Michaels, the craft store. Many craft stores, Joann's, Hobby Lobby etc are now branching into more wedding supplies. I got my headpiece, it's a rhinestone and pearl headband from Claires for only $18 and it's looks very cute. I think all together I paid $32 for the both. You can also check out e-bay for the veils and tiara's as well.

I just bought my tiara from clairs in the mall for $18. It is really neat looking, with small pearls and rhinestones. I am with you, no sense spending a fortune on something you are going to wear once. For the veil, it was $150 in the store, I too am in ivory, and I went to fabricland, bought the material and my friend from work is sewing it as we speak. $30, can't go wrong.

Definetely avoid David's Bridal. Such a ripoff! I bought my veil for $12 on ebay. It was brand new, and I was so happy with it. In the stores, it easily would've been $200-300 (it was cathedral-length). As for the tiara, I would also suggest ebay or bridal consignment stores. Or, could you borrow one from a friend?

I looked at David's too, and out of all the places I looked they seemed to have the most overpriced accessories...rip off

I went to a local bridal shop and got my veil for $50. I would shop around those places, right now they might have some great sales going on too.

Look on eBay for your tiara, I decided not to wear one, but when I was still in Limbo about it, I found lots on e-bay.

I bought my veil from either The Icing or Claires Boutique.

I had a family member make my cathedrial length veil. We picked out fabric at a local fabric store, she sewed it to the combs, and she found someone with a serger to make an edge seam. It cost *maybe* $30 total.

You can also check costume stores and dance shops for tiaras. They are used frequently in ballet productions and stage productions. You may be ablt to find something in your price range there. : )

mexico is the best place. i bought a huge tiara and a three tier cathedral train for about $75 for both. the lady made the veil by hand while we waited. it was gorgeous and worth the trip. although i am from texas though. most border towns (in mexico) have bridal districts. the shops are all bridal/quinceanera shops and have everthing you need for stuff like that and ceremony things too.

Best place to buy veils and tiaras?? For Wedding!? The best place to buy cheap Tiaras online is at Amazon.com who have a massive collection to choose from at amazing prices from a website you can trust.

http://www.amazon.com/Tiara/s/ref=sr_nr_seeall_5?rh=k%3Atiara%2Ci%3Afashion&keywords=tiara&ie=UTF8&qid=1408069190&tag=jewe-20

Tiaras are made from many kinds of materials, including gold, platinum, silver, chrome, and even plastic and are normally used on a special day like a birthday, prom or wedding.

They may include settings filled with precious stones and jewels like pearls, quartz, rubies, topaz, emeralds, and diamonds. Less expensive tiaras and headbands can also be found with paste stones, cut glass, and less expensive semi-precious stones.

Beyond that, you’ll find that there are several different kinds of these accessories to choose from to find the perfect match to go with a wedding dress or a childs party dress.

The tiara is a type of crown originally worn by royalty and religious figures. These delicate, ornately decorated bands of metal are worn horizontally at the top of the head like a traditional crown.

Tiaras are commonly worn with wedding dresses and veils as an added decoration. Women also find that the tiara helps them feel and look even more beautiful on their wedding day. The tiara is also a helpful way to identify the bride when she takes off her veil at the wedding reception
