Have any of you created your own wedding map. If so, please let me know how you did it. I was looking at only 50 maps for half of the guests. If you have any helpful websites that would greatly be appreciated. The ones that I have seen so far are out of my small budget.

Does it matter if the bride and bridemaids have different color jewerly on?? I think more for the pictures being nice.... I know that most people won't notice. My dress has silver embordiery on it... so I would wear silver tone but I could wear gold too. I was thinking of having my bridemaids were gold.... the dress are pink and brown. And the bridemaids shoes will be gold.... Do you think anyone will notice or it will look bad in the pics if we have different metals on or am I being a crazy bride?? LOL
I just want my pictures to look nice! Should we be different or should I switch the bridemaids to silver?? Or should I go gold? The emboridery on my dress is a very dull silver on ivory and looks like a cross between gold and silver.

so I'm 19 and I'm in love with my fiancee. Him and I are best of friends which is totally awesome and just found out that were going to have a baby!! The problem is that I've promised myself that I would never ever marry a smoker (cause I'm not a smoker, I can't stand the smell of smoke it physically makes me sick) and I've told my guy that I will stay with him forever but if he's still smoking I won't marry him (just stay common-law) he's tried to go on the patch and on zyban but they both failed and now he said that he would rather die from cancer than to try and quit smoking .. should I stay with my promise and stay common -law or should I marry the man I love for the sake of the baby?? I know this is a simple question I just wanted to get some advice from someone other than in my circle of friends

this is the first time i have to give the best man speech!
It has to be around 3 min. I'm not so much into the entertaining speech full of riddles and jokes because I am a bit nervious it will be a dead crowd (and you have to be the type of person that is good on delevering them and i am not).

Anyways for my three min. speech this is what I have so far:

three years ago i met my friend N working in the University cafateria...

He was a hard worker... (So M, he has no excuses when it comes to doing the dishes)

Besides from work, we always had a lot of fun, whether it was playing guitars at the local bar... or just hanging around.

I have heard a lot about m from the first day I met N. No matter what we did, every night that I can remember n made it a priority to call her. You could tell that she was always on his mind.

Out of all the times that I have seen N, the happiest i have ever seen him has always been right before he was going
to visit her.

MUST ADD MORE

I do the planning for our wedding, but wont get involved he says its a women thing, and that it gives him a head ache, which also gives me one but I still do it. How do I get him involved to where I know what he wants to see at the wedding? Or do I just do the planning myself and just let him put the money out?

I'm in the market for a diamond engagement ring. Yellow diamond, to be exact, either a single stone or with two white side stones. I've shopped a bit, but not extensively, and gotten prices ranging from $13,000 to $25,000 depending on the stone, etc. My question is this: how much is the price negotiable? If the dealer says $21k, what can/should I actually expect to pay? Is it looked down upon if he says "21" and I say, "I can give you 18"? How flexible are these prices? 5%? 10%? not at all?

I'm looking mainly at smaller independent dealers, not places like Tiffany's or Harry Winston, if that makes a difference.

Should we assume that the feelings will fall back into place, or should we cancel wedding plans, and wait if and when her full former feelings return?

We're suppose to attend a 3 PM Sunday Wedding in two weeks. Didn't realize it was going to be the end of our vacation. Would it be bad to say we can't attend after sending in the RSVP saying we were attending?

winter, December, with a budget of £4500. My dress is getting made by a friend but the bodice has crystal beading all over - its £1400. What we have free is as follows: the church (as its the one we go to!) and the registrar, the cake, the car, the veil, parents are paying for the reception, getting reception flowers from Budget-Bride.com-maybe also my boquet... how else can I save costs??
