Have any of you created your own wedding map. If so, please let me know how you did it. I was looking at only 50 maps for half of the guests. If you have any helpful websites that would greatly be appreciated. The ones that I have seen so far are out of my small budget.

We created ours using mapquest.com. We just typed in the location of the wedding and then printed them off. It was basically free. Only cost paper and ink.

Mapquest might be good, like the other posters suggest.

Another thing you (might be able to) do is check and see if the venue(s) you are using have a website. Sometimes they have a map to/of the location on the website.

I am hosting a bridal shower next month at a winery. Since the winery is out in the sticks I figured I better include a map. The website already had a good one so I saved it to my harddrive and then put it in a MS Publisher file to make inserts in the invites.

The two best mapping agents are Yahoo Maps or Map quest. Usually I use Yahoo Maps because they have simple driving instructions and a turn by turn map that you can also print out.

You can save alot of money if you print from your computer and please do it in color.

If you want to add any elements to the map such as a photo of both of you or a title to the map you can do so also by recreating your map information in word and posting any additional information you would like.

Go to mapquest or Yahoo Maps. Then hit the "Print Screen/SysRq" botton and paste it in to a Word Document or Publisher document.

Then you can design and decorate the document as desired and print them at home.

If you have your mind set on an old fashioned map, then go to the local Visitors Point or Tourist or Welcome center of your town, they have free maps of the county and sorroundings.

Good luck

Most of the maps I have seen have been either Mapquest or Yahoo Maps.

Mapquest is probably the most acurate. Unless your city has a map site/directions.
