Does it matter if the bride and bridemaids have different color jewerly on?? I think more for the pictures being nice.... I know that most people won't notice. My dress has silver embordiery on it... so I would wear silver tone but I could wear gold too. I was thinking of having my bridemaids were gold.... the dress are pink and brown. And the bridemaids shoes will be gold.... Do you think anyone will notice or it will look bad in the pics if we have different metals on or am I being a crazy bride?? LOL
I just want my pictures to look nice! Should we be different or should I switch the bridemaids to silver?? Or should I go gold? The emboridery on my dress is a very dull silver on ivory and looks like a cross between gold and silver.

I do not want the bridemaids to chose their own jewerly. For one- I am buying it all for them as a gift. And for 2- I want all the shoes to be the same color! I do not want half silver and half gold shoes!

you wear the silver, and the bridesmaids can wear gold. we did that in my sister's wedding and it looked nice. you have to match your dress, and they have to match theirs. gold will look good with the brown.

A couple month ago I was the "crazy bride" in your shoes! I am very anal about planning things and coordinating. When it came to my bridesmaids jewelry I lucked out in the respect that their dresses had a little sparkly brouche thing on them so it made it so they didn't wear necklaces, for earrings I go silver earrings that matched the brouche on the dress and for shoes I told them as long as they had silver shoes with the clear straps and sparkles that they could pick out whatever ones they wanted. Overall it was a huge hit, the girls picked their own shoes and they were able to wear them again! I wore silver jewelry as well, I now that my wedding band is gold but the diamond settings in both are silver so it made it okay! In your case I would reccomend silver all the way, it will play off your dress and help tie everything together. Feel free to take a look at my 360 page for some pics and good luck on planning out the rest. Don't let anyone tell you you're crazy! It's your day and you want it to be perfect! Congrats and good luck!

Wow! Thats a beautiful wedding gown! I think gold jewelry may not look good with that wonderful dress.White and Gold usually doesn't go well together, you see.But if you really insist on wearing gold, you can try white gold jewelry.Well,i know, its looks like silver but its a lot better than silver. White gold jewelry can really compliment those silver embroidery on that dress! Are you sure that you are going to wear gold shoes? White shoes with some nice shiny beadwork or pearls will be good. You can wear silver shoes also! My very best wishes for your wedding ! Happy married life!

It won't matter the color of the jewelry, as long as it is the same style. If you have silver embroider wear silver and if the bridesmaids' dresses are pink and brown they should wear gold. It is better for you each to look wonderful than for you to be matching, but look off. People would notice gold jewelry with a silvery dress.
Good Luck!

honestly it won't matter in the end what color or if everyone matches cuz you'll be caught up in the moment & won't remember or notice if some have gold and same have silver. but, it is your day, do what you want. just be careful not to go overboard & offend or drive your attendants nuts by being overly detail-oriented or anal.
my cousin made jewelry for all my attendants but when i gave it to them i told them they could wear it or not. 2 did, 1 didn't & everyone looked nice. and in the photos you can't tell anyway.

The bridesmaids are a completely separate "entity" that you. They do not have to match you as long as they match/ coordinate with each other. You are the bride, so you are suppose to look different. Don't switch to gold. Match your jewelry with your dress not what will make everyone match.

I think your bridesmaid should all wear the same color jewelry-gold. The gold will look better with the chocolate brown.

Personally I like silver, as long as the brides maids jewelry is a different style than yours it shouldn't be a problem if they all wear silver too.

The bridesmaids should all wear gold jewelry. It makes your photos look better when everyone matches. They can wear different styles of jewelry but the colors should definitely match.

All my bridesmaids had the same necklace set on. Silver and pink and I was wearing a rhinstone necklace. It looked really good on the pictures.
