I am getting married next week. When I booked the flight for the honeymoon, I used my finacee's new name even though her license hasn't been changed. Will a copy of the marriage certificate be enough to get her on the plane? (It won't be notarized)

My one and only baby sister is getting married at the tender age of 21. I wanted to get her something special. I am willing to spend in the neighborhood of 1000~1500. I read other questions about wedding gifts and many recommended cash. I would like to give her something a little more personal.

Some things about my sis:
Very involved with the Church and so is her fiancee
She is getting her masters in education and will be a 3rd grade teacher soon

I was thinking...
A TV
A nice hand bag
A watch

I would really appreciate any input or examples of nice gifts you have seen in the past. This will be the first wedding I'm attending in a long time so any advice would be great! Thanks in advance!

Basically, our guests can call in and put money towards our honeymoon. We have everythong we need already for setting up our new home, (kitchen utensils, linens etc.), and are both in school and work full time, but money is still tight with all of our new expenses for the wedding. We are both putting money towards the trip (non-traditional, I know), but, we are still worried it won't be enough.

My bf (lets call her Alex) got engaged a year and a half ago. She announced she wanted me to be in her wedding as the MOH. Fast forward to the shower! Alex calls me each and every day to make sure everything is to her liking. Ends up i spend about 400 dollars on the shower myself. No one asked or offered to help.
It was stressfull...At the wedding, she asked each of the wedding party people to spend a whole week at her rentd beach house and party hardy b4 the event. Well, I did, and accidntly flashed the uncle of the groom when my top came off in the hottub. Well, day of wedding, I was given a stern talking to about my "conduct" with one of the other bm's
Day of the wedding, did my thing, things went off without a hitch, gave a wondrful spch, and she hasnt spokn to me since. I applogized for whatever I did wrong but honestly feel I put lots of energy into her wedding. I don't wanna be friends with her either, honestly...bc this shows me she's a total witch! Shld I carry on a frdshp?

Would you go with a traditional couple cake top, monogram cake top, or modern design cake top (like a clear acrylic square with etched double heart design personalized with names & date)? Other suggestions welcomed...I am so indecisive!

I am getting married on September 22 of next year to a wonderful man, but he will not participate in the planning process. He is giving up all the money that we need but he says he just doesn't want to be bothered with the extra stuff. What makes it so bad is that he is the one that wants the big wedding not me but he doesn't want to help me plan it. Oh and wait he has a nerve to complain but when I asked his opinion he didn't have one. HELP BEFORE I PULL OUT ALL MY HAIR!!!!!!

We have been together for 5 years and we both have been talking about marriage and when we want to get married. He told me he is looking around for rings but he told me that if I see anything I really love then let him know. My friends keep telling me not to pick it out because I should want him to suprise me but I found one that I can't stop thinking about and I really really love it. Should I tell him??or just let him suprise me?? cuz even if I pick it out I still dont know when he is going to give it to me.

Who can fix this?
1) A doctor
2) A Schrink
3) A Hitman
4) 2 busty blondes in nurses uniforms
5) Your Insults as to how loney I must be to make questions like this up and how I must be an imature school kid or a Old man who is living on my own or some other PC rubbish.

(Bring on the insults, reportings, hate mail and general your a di..ck messages. I know you all love to write them as you could just skip the question, as a mindless useless dribbling statement, and do another sensible one but I know you wont miss this opportunity. P.S Yes I am dyslexic... but feel free to mock me about it if it makes you feel big.)

My ex-boyfriend has been my ex for going on 9yrs, but we have always remained friends. Problem is this is his 2nd time getting married and I don't know if there is any etiquette issues about me showing up. His first wife was not comfortable with our relationship although it is absolutely plutonic and would never become anything more. I'm leaning toward not going and just sending a very nice wedding gift to them. Any thoughts?
