what should my fiance and his groomsmen wear?
wedding details:
fall colors (chocolate, burnt orange, crimson red, amber), outside in my sisters yard, small wedding, casual, no dinner, starts at 2:00 in the day, and it's pretty cold in TN in oct.

my sister is doing a casual wedding in October of this year and she's having her men wear just dress pants with a white shirt, vest and tie. If you're worried about temps being too low though you could have them wear nice jackets, not tux's but casual dress jackets.
Congrats and good luck, the colors sound fantastic!

My husband bought his and our groomsmens SUITS at Jc Penney for $200 a piece. We thought it would be a nice gesture to the guys instead of a money clip or what not (as a wedding favor). Atleast they can wear them again. You could get a pumpkin colored shirt under a black suit that would be cute. Also, like I said you can wear it again unlike renting a tux. It wouldn't hurt to check into it, if not- rent a tux. However, from the sound of it- your wedding will be very casual and tuxes might be a bit too much. I'm always here for advice- we had a more casual wedding ourselves. Best of luck!

I would say have the groomsmen wear chocolate brown suits (slacks and jacket) since it is an outdoor cold wedding with an burnt orange necktie. The groom should wear the color you wear. If you are wearing off white than maybe he should wear off white as well.

I think it depends on your dress. If you are going for a short one your fiance would look great in a grey suit, maybe incorporating one of the fall colors with his shirt or tie. Same with groomsmen. Maybe all wearing grey suits with different fall color ties. If you go for a long dress, nothing beats a tux, casual or formal. There are so many to choose from. And guys look great in tuxes. Congratulations!

Maybe some chocolate slacks, long sleeved orange button up shirts. Your groom should be different in some way, perhaps a vest or jacket.
Good Luck, and congrats~!

Tan suits - boutonnieres to match the bridesmaids - for groomsmen. Your guy could wear mocha! or cappuccino!
