Sure, but if you want her to wear black how about a black & white dress to offset you & your bridesmaids. That would probably be pretty!
Good luck!

I would do either a black and white dress (like black top with black and white polka dotted skirt) or a white dress with a black sash. Remember to keep it age appropriate! There is never any reason that it should be a spaghetti strap or strapless dress, nor should it be tight, floor length, or low cut. Don't match it with your bridesmaids because chances are there is not a dress that is both appropriate for a flower girl and that a grown women would wear again.

You should have a contrast with the bridesmaids so I would suggest a white or off white dress with a black sash, and don't listen to these folks saying negative things about the color black, they're stuck in the old times when people only wore, peach, pink or that God awful lime green - it's a new day and black like all other colors are beautiful so I say go for it. I would accent it with blood red or deep burgundy roses and it would be very chic and classy.

Congratulations!- it's your day don't let people's opinions question your choices.

I personally don't like white flower girl dresses. There's nothing wrong with black bridesmaid dresses. You have to make sure that the cut of the dress is very little girl if you want the flower girl to wear black, no spaghetti straps or sleeveless.

First off I would ignore all the people that are telling you to change your color and that black is not right for a wedding and that you should do pastel colors. Black is very beautiful....I am doing the same as you are and I decided to put my flower girl in a white dress with a satin black sash....good luck :)

What other color are you using other than black? I have never seen a flowergirl wear black in a wedding but that's not to say that it can't or hasn't been done. One wedding I attended, the flower girl wore a white dress with a black ribbon like bow. Below are a few pictures you can get an idea from.

I'm in a wedding next month and our dresses are black, very classy. The little girls in the wedding are wearing white dresses for a little contrast. If you want the flower girl to wear black it's up to you there's nothing inappropiate about it. After all it's your wedding you should do what you want to do.

It's your wedding. But I would suggest having the flower girl wear white with black details ( a sash or bow or something)

I've seen both -- the flower girl to match the bridesmaids or in white to match you. It would be very cute for her to have a white dress with a black sash accents. Good luck!

Well, I'm not sure about black for a wedding... usually weddings symbolize peace, purity, etc. and so I would reconsider the color of choice you mentioned for the bridesmaids and suggested for the flower girl! I would think more a pastel pink, baby blue, white of course or beige. Really.

Hope this helped, good luck and have a lovely day which ever color you choose!! =)
