Most wear the same style tux, but the groom might wear one that has a different colored cumberbund from the groomsmen and best man.

Normally, they would wear the same cut on a tuxedo but the difference might be in the colour of the vest or tie they are wearing. It tends to depend on how many are in the bridal party. For example, if there is a Best Man and a couple of Groomsmen, then the Best Man would wear the same tuxedo in every detail and then the Groomsmen will have the different colours when it comes to the accessories (ie. vest, tie, bowtie). However, if it is just the Groom and the Best Man, then alternate the colours on the accessories.

The groom should be dressed differently than anyoine else, usually either black vest or white or ivory. The best man is the same as all the groomsmen, usually the color of the Bridesmaid's dress and the ushers a different color silver or something along that line.

No its like saying does the maid of honor wear the same dress as the bride. They wear it similar but something is different like the vest or the tie, but its not the same.

Not always, but they can. It would make the best man feel extra special being different from the other groomsmen.
