Doesn't matter if bridesmaids are married or not, but no you don't have to have someone in your wedding just because you were in theirs. Have who you want.

Not necessarily. One of my friends I was one of her bridesmaid. When i got married she wasn't one of mine because I had all of my friends since childhood and I've known her for about 8 years. We are good friends though. She had told me that if anyone were to back out she would be happy to replace one of them and she would not be offended at all. Turns out 2 of my bridesmaid backed out and she replaced one which turned out good cause she was paired with her husband!!

She was really good about it. Some people wouldn't react the same way she did but it turned out for the best!! I wouldn't have changed a thing!

well, things change. a few years ago i was a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding, and i'm getting married in oct. and she's not a bridesmaid in mine, we are just not as close as we were then. we hardly even talk anymore so i wouldn't want her as a bridesmaid. i chose my sister, my fiance's sister, and my best friend.

Not necessarily.

The bride should just choose those people who she really wants to be the bridesmaids - no rules.

Only if you want her to be, if not, then you should have whoever you want to be your bridesmaid. It is YOUR wedding, not hers, so do what YOU want.

Not necessarily. Your wedding day is very special and you should only have attendants that you choose for the right reason. Don't let anyone pressure you.

It depends on if she is my best friend or not! If she is, I would love to have her as my bridesmaid too!

While not everyone goes with tradition, I believe it is traditional to have single, unmarried bridesmaids.
