It's a simple question, it's not to determine whether I'm ready to get married or not.

no offense but some of the other answers regarding song choices I think are poor. I think you should have a song that resembles you and your sweetheart's love! A song that expresses the way you feel and it is so hard to find a song sometimes that resembles that. Here is a song that I just love that is very nice to dance to and is very romantic, and one that many people may not have heard so it is not over done:

it is by Jim Brickman and the title is "Love of my life" there are two versions both are great, one is sung by Michael W. Smith and the other is Donny Osmond. It is an amazing song with beautiful lyrics...

hope it helps... to get some more soft and enjoyable music go to www.jimbrickman.com

I think your wedding song should be something really special. Not just a tune that you like or is popular at the moment. There is no point of looking for ideas in wedding websites either because you'll just find a collection of popular songs. What's important is a song that means a lot to you both.

I choose Cirque du Soleil's Quidam for the church because on a date where we both feel that we're right for each other, we went to see that particular show. For the reception, since it's less traditional, I choose a song by Dead Can Dance since he offered me 3 sets of Dead Can Dance CD after our first date. Have fun!

I love the song "Crash and Burn" by Savage Garden. If you don't know the lyrics, you'll crack up at this...but the lyrics actually talk about someone who is willing to carry a down, depressed or lost person. It's a beautiful song that a friend dedicated to me when I was "on my last leg". He's my "Knight in Shining Armor" and always will be. It's going to be "OUR" wedding song when I decide to take the plunge.

Something special to both you and your fiance. There are songs out there from all types of artists that mean things to me. These songs have certain wordings that touch my relationship. You will find the song that touches you and when you do you will know.

I personally like the broken road from Rascal Flatts. I went through many hard relationships prior to ending up with my husband, a man I have known for 22 yrs. It really fits us.

Good Luck

If you are indecisive about such a little thing as a song, you're not ready to get married. What are you going to do when the real problems come along? Get on Yahoo answers and hope someone will bail you out.

A song that the 2 of you have danced to or that has some significant meaning to both of you. Breathe by Faith Hill is a good one.
