I am getting married in September. We are having a traditional wedding and it is traditional that a bride give her groom a gift for the wedding. (tell me if I am wrong about this) He recently started in the realestate business and I gave him a PDA handheld for a combined birthday/graduation present. I can't really top that financially but I would like to give him something special that he will cherish and/or use. It is traditional for the groom to give his bride jewelry, but what should a bride give her groom? No wedding-night comments please.

This is confusing. Are all countries different? One Greece website said their mairrage license is accepted internationally. But other countries' websites just say that the lisence doesn't matter on an international level... ?

It's for my wedding. The look is obviously going to be very black tie and I don't want red roses.

I am getting married this week-end and I still have a major crush on one of the groomsman who I haven't seen in 3 years. I don't know if I should try to talk to him and get "closure" or just ignore it. It is just a crush and I would never act on it put we do have a history and never really ended things, just drifted apart. I don't want to make a fool out of myself so please, advise??

After 2 years of being together and a child, my bf and I wed last Saturady. It was a spur of the moment, small gathering at home type of wedding, was lovely but NO honeymoon. Im upset because besides the fact we couldnt go away because he couldnt take off from work to go somewhere,we didnt have any sex, he acted like if it was any other day,,Its tuesday and still nothing. Im so mad, because even though weve live together,to me its symbolic to have a have a honeymoon. My bf has gotten lazy in that department but my question is..was that a lack of consideration on his part being such a special day ?? should have we had a traditional night of passion or because we live together does that exclude us??

I heard of leaving a thank you card on the refreshment plate then it would save time and money by not having to mail thank you cards

preproposed to. And now she's talking about her wedding. She wants me to do her hair. Does anyone have any ideas of how I should put her hair up? Her hair is shoulder length light blondish brown. She's not going to wear a traditional wedding dress. I have a pink dress that she'll be borrowing with light up clearish silver shoes. Her boyfriend is going to propose again later sometime, but I would really like to have some ideas. Thanks.

I've been dating this guy for 4 and a half years and have been engaged for almost one year. He's my best friend. I do love him very much and he loves me. However, I don't think we are right to get married! I take marriage very seriously and will NOT get divorced. He is just not what I am looking for in a husband and I didn't realize that until recently. Any advice - esp from ppl who have been there???
