A smart man would have made it quite clear LONG before it got to the point of the woman marrying someone else. If it takes her getting married [or engaged] to someone else before he will profess his love for her, then he is not strong enough to be with her. A man should be able to make his decision without desperation.
Besides, desperate decisions are usually followed by regret or 'buyer's remorse'.

okay i was in love with a guy that i knew for about 4 months. we had a relationship but i knew he was in a relationship and was about to get married. he ended up getting married sooner than they planned due to her finding out. to this day we still have that connection even while he's married. their marriage is more of they been together for so long he was scared to start over. so he married her and is unhappy.

true love is when you love someone, and you're able to let them go, and there is a possibilty of them coming back..if they are meant to be, they'll work out somehow, just dont wait 4ever, cuz 4ever may never come. He should tell her, and if she says she doesnt love him, he should let her go, but there is a possibilty she could grow to love him...if that makes sense

He should tell her once in private, and then deal with her decision.

i think if he really did love her, he would talk to her privately, and respect her decision.
