My fiance seems to think that bachelor parties normally include a stripper/escort of some kind and that the purpose of the bachelor party is for the best man to get the groom laid his last night of single-dom. I have never heard of this, and I personally am not okay with this, but I want to confirm with the world that I am not the only one that feels this way - or maybe I am? Thank you all in advance for answers.

Do you have any recommendations for reception rooms in SF that have a beautiful view of the city and/or GG Bridge? The guest list will be about 75 people. It can be at a hotel, residence, restaurant, etc. Does need to be private, though. Thanks for your suggestions.

My friend (From schooldays) has caused a really big row with her family. Because she's saved herself for her husband to be, she insists not only her to be in white but Tony and all the guests to be in white. That could be 30 people. I think that's asking too much. I've heard of people not wanting children at the wedding service and top hats and tails but...Tony and her are barely speaking or the families.

How long before my wedding can I make my Jordan Almond favors?

We have an October 21rst date. My mom is coming in town this weekend to go dress shopping, and I thought we could make them up. How should I store them if we make them?

My best friend is married and younger brother is not. Who do I choose as my best man? Should I consider the toast when making that determination? Is family more important when it comes to the wedding? Or is it marriage status?

you'd spend on your neice/cousin/grandaughter on a wedding present??

I'm confused about the things I should put on my list, whether putting a washing machine or dining table or tv unit down is too cheeky??!

My boyfriend and I have been talking about getting married, and I'm sure he'll want his 6 year old daughter as our flower girl. She lives over an hour away and I'm not inviting her psychotic mother. In fact, we may hire security to keep her from crashing. Problem is, he doesn't have much family, so I don't know who we should ask to keep her during the day before the wedding, and take her after the reception. Her mother is unreliable, but I don't want to burden MY family with it and I'm certainly not schlepping her home (or even worse) keeping her on our wedding night!! Is it appropriate to ask one of his friends (who live in the same town as his daughter?)

I do not want his parents to feel left out so I said a none denominational wedding or two ceremomies, christian and muslim. My mum is spectical......... she thinks blessings from a priest mean the world. My future mum inlawsuggested an ancient Egyptian themed wedding. To keep peace.........what do I do?
