it is not that hard to plan a wedding...

sit down and figure out what the bride wants and what the groom wants and then what is needed then do it.

simple really.

That's a toughy. Weddings take ALOT of planning. Are you extremerly organized? Do you have a job? Can you devote the time it takes? Can you keep your wits about you? Even with a planner there are some that turn into a Bridezilla because of their idea of perfection or need of control.
A planner might be your best investment. Then again, you could do all the planning & work & then hire a WP to pull it all together the last 2-3 months.

Realize that you are dealing imperfect humans, and things happen. Still your day will go off without a hitch so don't worry about that sort of thing. And should something unforseen happen, when all is said & done, at the end, you will be married.

I didn't use a wedding planner because I'm kinda a control freak and its my way or the highway and I really enjoyed planning my wedding. I know planners are expensive where I am, but you would have research to find out
