What was it about your then girlfriend that made you want to propose - that is, what qualities did she posses that made you think you wanted to be with her forever?

Hi, I am 35 yrs old and 4.5 months pregnant, never been married, no previous children, my partner is divorced and has two children that we have shared custody of. He was done over and hurt bad financially in his divorce settlement. Now we have a new baby coming and I feel driven to organise our lives and make some goals I have found out from partner firstly he wont be sharing any money from his previous life...ok fair enough, so I said well then we need to start off and build equally together, and he just said he didnt want to spend his life again being a slave to the dollar and working his ass off, well ok thats fine too, but I have goals and now with a child coming I want to create or start working towards security for my child and I am slaving to the bone exhausted trying to be a step mom and cleaning up after everyone and I honestly dont see the point continuing without any direction. I may as well be alone have only one child to look after and save for my own future, the chances of any merging or cohesiveness together seems like its no go, so whats the point of me exhausting myself. Any ideas or solutions?

my husband and i have been seperated for almost a year.... i gave him the divorce papers almost 2 months ago.... how do i get him to fill them out??? i know he's just stalling for as long as he can.. i don't want to get ugly about all of this, but i really need the financial help from him??? i'm trying to make this divorce as civil and painless as possible so we can remain friendly around the kids...

I'm very much in love with my fiancé, and I want to spend the rest of my life with him, but recently i've been feeling very afraid and contemplative. I've come to realize that he seems to have a problem with anyone he see's is too close to me, expecially my 2 best girlfriends who are really the sisters i've never had. He actually claims to hate them, with no appropriate reason. He knows how much it emotionally stresses me when he constantly complains about them, yet he never stops. Also in our religion, i'm required to listen to what he says.. and he's been implying that he'll not allow me to hang out with my friends, that he wants me all to himself. As much as I love him and want to make him happy, i'm a very independant person and I don't think I can settle with his rules. He always seems to be lecturing me about everything, but I know he does it out of concern.. I don't know if I can go through with this though, what do you all think? Thanks everyone.

i am asking this question here in this forum, because, i want a good opinion, i have asked this same question at my work place to mostly men, most the men i asked there said that they dont wont kids ever as it would ruin their relationships, and they wont to keep that spark, in their marriage are relationship without the worries of kids, interfering,, they said kids would spoil their private times and their away too expensive now aday, on the other hand i did have two kids and my marriage did break- up as the kids consumed all my time, but that would not stop me from ever having again, also my sister been married for 8 years and no kids yet she feel the same as the men i talked to.. no kids make a better solid carefree easy lifestyle, but as i said i love kids and would do it again but at this point my sons grown so now i am alone again only now my age has stopped me, i wanna know what anyone here think? about it plz all opinions thank you.

we are newly married, my wife is 5.8 and i am5.5, more often when we go out, she wears 2" or 3" high heel, i feel reluctant in prohibiting her to do so.in fact i like tall girls but walking along a tall girl brings embarrasment to me. pl. some solution

My fiance's ex wife has said that we can't have the kids for christmas. It states in divorce papers that they have alternating holidays in the state of michigan. She had the kids for thanksgiving in the state of virgina. She is coming to Indiana which is where we live for christmas with her family but said that we couldn't have the kids cuz it's not in Michigan. The divorce papers also state that neither parent can take the kids out of the state of michigan without written permission from the other which she has not had for any of her trips.

I was with my boyfriend for 5 yrs, since I was 17 yrs old. I go to school full time 2 hrs away from and we dated 3 yrs before I moved to a different school I will be going to grad school soon since I just got accepted. Im smart Im pretty I treat him really nice and always have. I feel so used! He cheated on me when we first started dating w/ his ex and i didnt find out til yr 2 and forgave him cuz of how "sorry" he was and then i found out about more lies, he started hanging out w some girl he met at work more than we were hanging out we fought like crazy he went behind my back to hang out w her, i found out he was doing drugs like coke and x occasionally, found out he was going to strip clubs.... the thing is, when he's with me and around me he was so sweet and sincere told me he wanted to marry me, how proud he was of me so much more.... and at the same time all of that I listed above - i feel like he doesnt love me at all or never did (relationship just ended a week ago)

Earliar today, my mom was tossing me the phone and she tossed it harded and lower than I expected it, and it hit me in the balls kinda hard. She was almost in shock and rushed over to my side. But now im kinda embarrassed about the whole situation. anyone else had something like this happen, what did you do?

Okay, my husband and I have been going though some major problems. Now, he's in Georgia and I'm in Arizona. But, we talked. He wants to come back out here and work on us. I want to say yes, but I'm having a hard time with it. I love him, just he's a mama's boy. To the point of where she talked him into going back to the Boro. So yeah, what do I do? Do I tell him to come back out and hope for the best, or expect the worst, and have him stay out there?

Basically we went out to a nightclub. And even before anyone was drunk , he starts grabbing my a**.

I move his hand as quickly as I could. And tried to keep my distance from his but he kept following me - with her.

I am unsure if she seen him but today I'm hungover but its kiiling me. How or what should I say to her ?!

How do I get my wife to be more in the "mood"? Lately (last couple of months) my wife has been showing less and less interest in us making love. I know that she is not having an affair, bacause she is either at work or at home, or we are out x-mas shopping or whatever. We aren't having any relationship issues, Neither one of us has gained or lost any weight, and her career is going well, she actually just got a propmotion last week. I am lost.

One of my ex's told me he loved me after a few short weeks. I was totally freaked out & turned off by this. That's actually the reason why we broke up, he was too clingy & was moving way too fast.

I think I told my husband after about 6 or 7 months when I REALLY felt it. When do you all think it's the right time to say those powerful words??

My alchoholic wife has left me and our 2 children for the second time. She is now seeing a deadbeat alcoholic. She voluntarily signed full custody of our 10 yr. old son and shared custody of 5 yr. old daughter to me. Wife has been told by her doctor a few times that she needs to go to rehab to dry out, she also take anti depressants. She has also been told by 2 different alcohol counselers that she needed rehab which she never done. I want to get full custody of my 5 yr. old cause of unhealthy situation at her mothers and wondered if her medical records and counselers records can be used in custody case at Family Court.

while living with my ex husband i applied for a credit card in my name, i then purchased a tv. we split up resently and i let him take the tv as long as he made the payment. he has now threatened not to pay it. can i get the tv back from him? i know he wont' give it up willingly so how can i get it back?

Earlier in our relationship my wife decided that it was something that was acceptible for her to do, an acceptible form of torture if you will. But she just loves picking at whiteheads/blackheads on my back, shoulders. She thinks it is normal, i beg to differ, please help!!
