Money is important because along with it comes other things like stability, comfort, making a life not just a living. For a lot of people security is a VERY big deal and for that reason a lot of people find that money is important. I'd say it's important but I don't let it rule me. There is more to life than just money. Let's face it,,,when you die you can't enjoy it anymore or take it with you.

I didn't know what money was about 5 years ago when i was 24,(i was a spoiled child,sorry). but i did learn in these 5 years, after I started to learn independence (please don't judge me and say it's too late).
and now my parents are happy to see I finally know what money is all about.
It isn't the most important thing in life, but nowadays you can do nothing without it.
Thus I no longer spend it like water,but try to save it wherever I could!

In most societies today, you cannot survive without money. You need it to buy food, shelter, etc. So, that's why we need it. It shouldn't be everything, though. Just a necessity for survival, but if you have some for fun, sweet. Life consists of many other things apart from money.
