Sure. It happened after the decision was made (by her) to end the marriage. I dated a couple of women and eventually married one. We were together for twenty years until cancer took her from me. Do things in the right order is my advise. My ex didn't, and I still kind of resent that she didn't inform me first.

Well, yes with exceptions. My wife had made a big production of telling me she wanted a divorce with several of her friends and family there for support. (she has always been a drama queen) After I said "you know, it's probably for the best" she went ballistic, made a fool of herself, and solidified in my mind how right she was that we should split. Anyway, after she filed, the babysitter started calling, asking if she could come over even though she knew my wife had the kids for the weekend. She was 17 and I was 25. I had no idea that she was even remotely interested. I won't say what happened next, but to answer your question, yes, I definitely took an interest, knowing that in 3 short months I would be divorced. Was I wrong?

From the frying pan into the pot>Give it a break for a while to much drama>All at once>The new love will get tired of your complaining about the divorce and will split>End 1 before starting another>

Sure that is normal. However, BEWARE, cause when you are getting divorced is the absolute worst time to select someone else for a serious relationship --- your judgement is highly impaired. Get through the divorce, heal yourself and any issues that you brought to the divorce, and THEN you are ready to look for love again. People who don't do this have been divorced two or more times!

Good luck.
