He doesn't want you to see that the last channel he watched was an adult one ha ha.
Dunno, some babies like dummies, some like blankets, he likes his remote.
I personally don't care for the TV, I don't even know where the remote is most of the time. Maybe he is just trying to impose his dominance in the house in the only thing he is 'allowed' to ha ha.

Boy, are you echoing my wife's complaint.
I cannot stand watching commercials and I channel surf whenever one comes on.
I also have another TV that has picture-in-picture so I can watch one game on the small picture and switch between two other games.
Wait a minute, do you think I may have a problem?

we are too lazy to manually change the channel,
so we keep the remote control in our hands,
even if we sleep.

they want to have complete control over what they want to watch and if they have control of the remote no one else can turn the channel.

thats so funny thats what my dad is like , i dont watch tv at all however im always on the internet whenever i have free time . when our brains find something that triggers it we want as much of it as we can get ....for him its tv for us its yahoo answers ... if you want to break this behaviour find other things he likes to do and try to lure him out of his comfort zone

i truthfully think its the caveman coming out from inside of us (holding a wooden stick), evolution didnt work on that part of our brain
