Marriage & Divorce - 14 December 2007

We weren't doing anything at all but talking. I was sitting on the bed smoking a cigarette and he was standing up beside me. (The bedroom is the only room in the house I smoke in.) The friend had only been at our house for about 15 minutes when my husband got home. He was late getting off work and should have been home an hour earlier. The door was closed, but not locked. We have all been friends for years. I didn't think for a second that my husband would have been upset about him being there with me. Nothing inappropriate has ever happened between the friend and me. But, when my husband got home, he flipped out. He kicked his friend out of the house. He called me a lying, cheating slut. He acted like he had caught us in the bed naked. I tried to talk to him, but he completely shut me out. He went to bed tonight without saying a word. What in the hell did I do that was so wrong? How do I get him to talk to me about the situation? He's not usually the jealous type.

Or he is just pursing because he CAN...? What if he says he wants to start off as friends with this woman and move into more? Why would he still pursue this dangerous situation if everything is ok at home??

Ok, so I was talking to my husband, and he was talking about this girl he works with, and what she looks like. I was getting a little jealous so I asked what her body type was. I said "Does she look like me?" I was talking about body type. I am 5'2", and 118 lbs, which is a little big because I had a baby 8 months ago. He said " NO, she doesn't look like you. She is thin, and she doesn't have a little pudge", and he made a gesture to my belly.

Ok, so I know I still have a little of my baby fat, but I was sooo Insulted!!! How would you have felt? And for guys, do you think it was ok for him to say that?

Well my fiance will be home from work soon and i am wanting to do something special for him????? We have 3 kids and no family near us so if we go anywhere we have to take them with us which is fine.... So if i could get any ideas that would be great!!!!

I recently found out about these personal ad accounts, which he just opened in the last 2 weeks. None of the accounts are paid accounts. I did confront him about it and he said he was just curious and only wanted to see if anyone would respond to his postings, they were all asking for an above 60 year old lady, he is younger by 10 years. He says he is only seeking a friendship that's why so old, because he thinks there will be no physical attraction to somebody that age. He has been a loner most of his adult life and besides me has one other friend, but says he cannot talk to her about personal stuff and get advice. He keeps saying he loves me and its not about our marriage, he just wants to make some friend to talk to and he does not feel comfortable with other men as friends. I am really depressed and am also in no position to move out financially, we have been together almost 8 years. What should I do?

What about your husband, bf, partner etc that they do pisses you off the most....and i am talking about things that they say, do or dont do that really gets on your nerves...my husband has a way of saying the wrong things......like tonight for starters....he had vacation for next week and now comes home and tells me that he isnt taking it because something has come up at work and "we" cant afford for him to have vacation.....just the way he said it make me mad because he implied that it was some how my fault that he cant handle his money......not my fault....maybe he should not buy crap he doesnt need...but oh well....so i want to hear your thoughts on this. :)))

im 8 months pregnant me and my husband have been married for almost 2 years. we dated for almost 4 years. when we dated he was in trouble for marijuana, did some time and even had to do an outpatient rehab. well he decided to join the national guard after the birth of his son (by his ex-wife) and he stopped with marijuana all together. but ever since he got off active duty he hasnt been able to quit the habit this time. now we live with his parents i cant work due to pregnancy he has a job but they fired him last week for not coming in but he begged for the job back and they gave it back. well he didnt go in again today cause he stays up all night smoking and playing video games that he cant wake up in the morning for work.i really want us to get our own place but he spends like 10-20 bucks a day smoking, i know that dont seem like much but it adds up. on top of that i cant even get a little money for anything.its really unfair. what should i do give him more time to change or no.

This guy claimed he adored me. He also claimed himself to be a catholic to the core.

We have known each other for over 4 years. I do not want to have relationship with him because I am a virgin. I want to wait until marriage. I know he attracted to me sexually and wanted affection.

He recently blamed me for all the mistake. He claimed I have been strung him along. He could not wait for me. Then, he turned the table around and made be the bad person and asked me to leave him alone.

My question is. Since he claimed himself to be "the good catholic man" why can he be one?

It is just all talk--no action!

My fiance has irresponsible spending habits, I am not trying to tell him what to do, but it looks like I'm saving all the money here and it doesn't seem right to me. I had to remind him that my savings is my "emergency" stash not his, if he gets into trouble and has no money than thats his fault for not saving anything. Is his compulsive spending habits and bad credit a reason to break up? I really dont want to but I'm scared that one day we could be evicted or have a foreclosed house b/c he can't stop spending on junk.

I hope I am not sounding greedy but gas is expensive nowadays and it takes money to get around town with you know? Plus, I like to get soft drinks sometime too :) I mean I know if a man lost his job then ofcourse there shouldn't be an allowance and all but I am talking in general. Earliar today, my mom was tossing me the phone and she tossed it harded and lower than I expected it, and it hit me in the balls kinda hard. She was almost in shock and rushed over to my side. I went to see a psychic 6 years ago (been married 5, together 7) and out of the blue the psychic knew that I was seeing someone. She looked at me and knew that I was doubtful, and said to me, "This is the one, there is no other." Been trying for 5 years, no baby. Sometimes I think that perhaps it's because we're not meant to be together (my husband and I). We were supposed to start IVF in June, but something medical happened and I had to wait until next month. Right after that, I started falling for someone else. And now that we're going to start IVF in a month, I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing. I want a baby, but not really with my husband. When I was at the IVF seminar the other night, I was picturing the other man instead of my husband!

Anyway, we're supposed to meet with a psychologist next week as a pre-procedure before the IVF.
