Are we talking about a school age teacher (K-12) or a college prof type teacher??
If it is child and an adult I would say stop!!!!! That is not an appropriate conversation for you to be having.
If it is two adults I would say it depends on how intense the converstion got. If a new girl starts at my husbands work I ask him if she is cute. I wouldn't be mad if he said yeah she is good looking. Now if he was talking about the size of her breasts or her butt or things like that. Then I would be upset.

Why would a teacher tell a student that?? Anyway, that's besides the point...if they want to have a conversation like that then that's their business. I can't imagine discussing the "hotness" of another woman with my husband though!

Is this a high school teacher? Many of them have odd and somewhat inappropriate stories like this, but usually of past events...
No, as far as I know, this is not exactly a usual or common thing. Some people choose to live their lives like this...

Oh my how very disrespectful he is to his wife. Ok he is a man and he is going to look and think who knows what when he sees an attractive woman however he should never come home to his wife and tell her. I feel bad for her. She should leave and find someone who is going to respect her feelings.

no it is not normal; he is disrespecting you as his wife. I think that he needs to seek therapy so he can get his thoughts straight. This teacher also need therapy since she is turning to her students to get them on her side as they can support her; behavior is very childlike.

It depends on their relationship. Why are they telling you? That doesn't sound appropriate.
