My husband is 40 going on 20. He MUST go out EVERY night of the week! No joke. Every single night he has to be the life of every party everywhere in town. He has his places where all the drunks know him. He drags in drunk every night between 11pm(on a good night) and either 3am or never comes home from wherever he is. We have kids that I sit home with every night. He does nothing for them. I take care of, feed, diaper, play with and teach and put to bed the kids every night alone. He has a whole other life I am no part of. I sit home and he lives it up every night! I think he might be on drugs. No one can stay up all night every night unless you take something. Anyways I am getting angry and depressed more and more each day. I can't stand him talking about all these people he knows and how much they like him and gag gag gag...yeah while your wife and kids sit home like prisoners do the people know that about you? I cry and feel lonely every day...what should I do? See a Dr or leave?

I know he wants to hear that he was wonderful, or the sex was great - and it was. I'm just having a hard time saying "you're the best" without it coming out like "you're better than so-and-so". I don't mean to make comparisons - he's the best EVERYTHING I've ever known - but it sounds that way to him.
What phrases can I use that will make him get just how delicious, and sexy, and masterful he is (and he is!!!) without sounding corny or just like all the women that came before me?

I had a married man stare at me all the time, make excuses to be around me, etc......for over a year. Obviously, I wasn't into having an affair.....So, why is he still trying? Does he want out of his marriage? Or is he just looking for an affair? Why would he still keep trying to get with me?

My bf and I broke up 2 weeks ago. it was mutual. he's scared to be in a serious relationship bc he's recently gone through a divorce. he said he wanted to take a step back and I said I couldn't do that. he kept asking if i was going to leave and never call again and i said i didn't know. it's been 2 weeks and i want to contact him...Whats the first step I should take?

i should add that i did send him a letter after we broke up basically stating that we needed time and space to think about what we really wanted...should i still contact him?

There's this guy who I haven't seen in almost three years. We were neighbors for two years and hung out and we went to the same high school. He knew I liked him back then and I would go to his games because he was on the football team.

While I was waiting on the train to take me home he comes up to me and we haven't seen each other in almost three years.

We were talking and he then asks me if I go to my college football games and I said no. Then he says "Oh cuz I'm on the football team at my college and my team is playing against your team pretty soon." I told him that was cool and then he quickly said it was nice seeing me and turned around and left.

I feel like yesterday he was inviting me to watch him play football, but I'm not quite sure. Does it sound that way

how often do you argue? I am purposely not putting qualifiers like the topic of the disagreement. Also do you think that it is healthy to argue as much as you do?

I have met her NUMEROUS times, and I know she likes me. We have been dating quite a while, and we go to visit her regularly. Granted, she was tired and stressed, and had been traveling, but still...

She caught herself and apologized, but it still freaked me out.

How to handle this?

Well as my hubby has sat infront of the tv staring at football and ignored me all day .. I decided to actually start watching the tv and the guys talking about the sports have these little pins on their coats and they looked like tomatoes to me. And I asked "what are those? Tomatoes?"

All the sudden my husband jumps up and starts yelling at me about how they are poppy flowers that are meant to be in memory of all the soldier thats died in the war and I should show some f'ig respect and not be such a rude b*tch

I'd really like to know how I was suppose to know this ... I'm from the US we don't have pins like that and I've never seen them before. I tried explaining this and got told to shut up because I was just being stupid

I really don't understand what I said that was wrong ...

My brother and his wife have filed for divorce after 23 years of marriage, two teenage daughters. The x-wife has started dating as soon as she filed papers. Is this good for the girls? My brother doesnt seem to think so. He says he wants to wait. He doesnt want to cause anymore damage than what there already is. Is there a set time limit on this kind of thing or what? What's the protocal?

I just got a new six figure job in management. It is more money then I ever made. I am good father and already pay an enormous amount of child support. I don't want to short change my kids but if I make more money to I have to give it to my ex wife. I just want to get ahead. Legally is she entitled to more support. We just signed our last agreement 6 months ago. I live in California.

So, we have been married since 2004. I have two children from a former relationship (ages 9 and 14) and they do love him dearly. He has continually lied to me - though the early years are just retrospect.
His first lie when when he flunked out of college and pretended to still go for 3 months. He slept on his parent's couch for that time. He then lied about a DUI and lost his license. He then lied about paying his car insurance and getting another violation. No car for another year and beaucoup legal fees.
He then lied about his paychecks, bill paying, etc. I finally took over his paycheck and started paying all bills.
He then opened up accounts without my knowledge, charged items, etc. and then defaulted. His parents EVEN co-signed. Unbelieveable!
Now, the payments I have given him for his car payment have gone missing for the last few months. This is something that he has promised to be responsible about and stop lying to me about.I hink this is a deal breaker.

If everything is good in your relationship, you feel your partner is your best friend that u feel so comfortable sharing with and spending time with, who always has sex with you whenever you want it and the sex is good why would you go ruin that by having a one night stand with another woman, especially an easy woman who isnt that attractive? THis is not only me, but I know a few men who are cheating on women they claim to love so dearly who mean the world to them. Why do you gys cheat?

My son has been asking for years for me to take him to San Antonio. I went some years back and he has seen all the pictures of all the places I went and has wanted to go. I haven't been able to afford to take him, because I had to spend what little child support I got on food, clothes and such. Now that I am getting more financial help, would it be alright to take some of the child support and take my son on a weekend trip to San Antonio?

It seems like the Black & Latino men that grew up in the generation X/Hip Hop generation feel that cheating is acceptable and it is actually encouraged. As a Latina woman who grew up in this generation shoudl I just accept that these men nowadays are going to cheat? We are all in our late 20's early 30's now and all of my guy friends/exes have cheated on me or whoever woman they were with and even their wives.. Is this just what the women in our generation are gonna have to deal with? I feel like Im beating a dead horse trying to find a faithful man and shoudl just give up. And all of my married guy friends have cheated on their wives.
And I dont just know a few men. I mean guy friends, as well as all the men I work with in my present and previous jobs. I m talking about over 40 men,
This ISNT just guys I dated but all of the guys I know from this generation. My married guy friends go out and cheat on their wives, but they say they love their wives/girlfriends. I

Does your husband help in raising your kids?

Mine are teens now and he thinks things have been "fine" .. say what?! He's done nothing! lol ..

No planning (holidays, birthdays, vacations, weekends, nada), never bought a gift (unless I brought it up or reminded him) .. yet he thinks he's helped raise them just fine ..

By the way we've been married 22 yrs, the kids are 18, 16, 14 ..so it's been a long time of the above.

I've had "the talk" with them, I'm the major disciplinarian, the major stuff, he just says "yeah what your mom said" (no joke)

He doesn't earn all the money either ..

What's your take on it?!
