Marriage & Divorce - 10 August 2007

My wife and I have been married for 13 years.We have 3 children,aging parents,we each have a career,countless other demands.To top it off,she is a perfectionist in all things,so she is always stressed about somthing.Often she has not much time and energy left at the end of the day for romance.
What do you sugest?

I've been married 8 years after 2 months he lost his good paying job and found out I was pregnant! I worked for the first 5 years and he was at home during that time I endured abuse mental mostly! I lost my job and he found one making $8 an hour and that's what we have been living on for 3 years almost. It was never suppost to be his only job , he has no get up and go to find another job and I'm just so fed up that sometimes I just hate him and wish he didn't come home!! I've cried myself to sleep and can't sleep lately!! What would you do and this isn't normal right!? I just want him to man up!! and take care of his family like I did !!

i have been seeing this guy for over 2years now and his ex is still a major part of his life. she calls at least 5 times a day (at all hours) and he doesn't say anything, first gripe. then when we are all out in public at a location we mutually go to, he doesn't treat me as a bf would his gf, he says he does it out of respect for her, gripe number 2. Every family function he has somehow she manages to be invited to and to keep the peace (so he says) i don't get to go, gripe number 3. yes we started seeing each other right after they seperated but that was our decision and she needs to deal with it. now there was once when i found out they had slept together since we started seeing each other, but i forgave and we moved on, but lately i am feeling alot of resentment towards her, i don't owe her a thing and he feels like he does. i do love this guy and he says he loves me. i know that they have to talk to discuss their teenage boys, but shouldn't there be a line drawn by him?

Ok, we have a good sex life but my husband isn't as young as he used to be (he's in his early 40's) and sometimes he's just not as "there" as he was in the past. I wonder if Viagra would bring things back to more like how they used to be. But I'm terrified of hurting his self-esteem if I suggest that he needs Viagra.

Don't get me wrong...this isn't an all the time thing. Last night he felt like a baseball bat! But it makes me want it like that all the time!

Any ideas on how I could suggest this without hurting his feelings? Is there any way I can get a "sample pack" or something like that to give to him? What do you think?

I had a feeling my dad was with someone else besides my mom. But instead of comfronting him, I told my mom.
And when my mom asked him what's the deal, he said it was just a friend.

On his phone he sent her text messages saying "I Love You". He said that when he sent these, he meant it a friendly "I Love You".

He bought her shoes. He said it was a gift. Like friends give each other. So it was just a friendly gift.

And he swears he didn't have sexual contact with her, it was just a friend.

But my Mom can't believe him. She thinks he's lying. And that this was more than a friend. But I kinda believe him, he doesn't seem like the guy that would cheat.

My Mom forgave him.
For two weeks, saying okay, maybe u didn't cheat.
Then she started again, and got all mad at him.
She just won't get over it.
My dad tried everything from flowers and jewelery.
He says sorry everytime.
But she won't get over it.
How do i get my mom to get over it?

He will not keep something away from his best friend that is private and personal to me even if I ask him to. I think it is none of his business but my fiance thinks he should be able to tell him if he wants. He said that his best freind is just as important as I am and he will not keep anything from him.

In retrospect, what do you think was the cause. Jealousy? Insecurity? Did your mate end up doing things behind your back?

My husband and I are considering a threesome (I initiated it) and i've heard a lot of people say it ruined their marriage. Just trying to find the reason why if you went into it knowing what was going to happen (meaning, you willingly agreed to do it).

I told my wife that I had cheated on her and that my girlfriend is pregnant. My wife was mad and hurt when I told her. My girlfriend wants me to leave my wife and be with her. I love both women and I will definitely be there for both of my children. I want to be there for both women. You have no idea how much I love them.

I took my ex back to court for unpaid CS and to set future CS according to guidelines. We came to an agreement at the courthouse (not with a judge, but both of our attorneys were in the conference room). The details were written on a court minute, signed by me and my ex and both of our attorneys. The judge signed the minutes and filed it with the court clerk.

My ex went home and calculated CS based on the income I was assigned and figured out he could pay less if my income is assigned differently.

I have been a stay-at-home mom for 2+ years, thus my income was $0. This was my choice. Prior to that I worked 3 years and my income was $25k per year. He asked to have my income calculated at minumum wage for CS computations. (Ex's attorney had my tax returns and income statements for the past five years six months before we went to court.)

I want CS to remain as it was set in negotiations. Can it be altered because my ex changed his mind after seeing what he will pay?

he's aware that watching it makes me feel like am not satisfying his sexual hunger even though he often praises our sex life as being extremely healthy and interesting. Just this morning I told my husband wanted a divorce. He says my reasons aren't good enough and wants to try to work things out. Here are my reasons: fist off we've been together since i was 18, am i now 23, we have 2 kids.We lived with his parents until febuary of this yr. he would go and leave me there with the kids while he went to play computer games at his friends house in another county. When i would try to talk to him, he would walk off from me or ignore, me and now all of the sudden he wants to talk and i can't talk to him because of the way he did in the past. I've felt misserable for at least 2 yrs. staying depressed, and crying alot. i fell i am bettering myself for wanting to go through the divorce.
He hardly ever acts likes he wants anything to do with the kids, or me for that matter. Yet he says "why do u want to do this to me, why do u want to leave and take our kids away, why do u want to leave u are the only reason i try to work, is for you and the kids"

My husband and I have been together for 5 years and Married 1. We have always gotten a long until we go married. We seem to fight a lot and want different things. I want to have kids and start a family and he wants to go out a drink and come home at all hours of the night. I feel like I come last on his list. The relationship seems like it is based on everything that he wants. I have tried talking to him about this but he just yells and tries to throw everything back on me. is marriage really this hard? Have decided to move jobs. Have two interviews lined up. Boyfriend none too happy about me moving as we are getting bits and pieces together to apply for a morgage. Am hoping to have finished with morgage application before I move..

Am moving b-coz I am miserable and extremely bored where I am at the moment! Have mentioned this before on yahoo also. Boyfriend thinks I'm unsuppportive for wanting to move at this time! Ok my husband and I have been separated for going on 9 months. We have a 15 month old daughter together. He'd been living with his new girlfriend since March but he recently dumped her. He called me Wednesday and as soon as I answered he said "will you marry me?" I know he was kidding but then he asked me and my daughter to go to dinner with him. I told him I'm not taking him back if that's what he's getting at (I'm trying to play hard-to-get b/c I've been here before and if I run back to him easily he changes his mind) Then he called me Thursday night and I told him I was thinking about calling off the divorce so I could get a new lawyer and as soon as I said that he was like "I don't wanna be married to you anymore... let's just get it over with" Do you think his attitude changed cause I hurt his pride the day before by saying I didn't want him back? birthday (he is going with buddies). And on our anniversary he has a high school reunion that I am not very interseted in attending. We did not attend high school together and he is already very close with many friends from high school which we see on a regular basis. I can't help but feel a little selfish about wanting his attention on theses two important dates but I also want to be supportive and let him do these things with his friends, I just wish they didnt fall on days that I feel were meant for us to be together. Not to brag, but my husband is very good looking. In not...lol. Other women are constantly flirting with him, even right in front of me. Most of the time is women he doesnt know, because it will happen out in public.

My neighbor has a 2 year old son that we babysit sometimes. This morning when she dropped him off, my husband answered the door and she thought i was asleep. She said to my husband, 'Oohhhh daddy, arent we dressed up nice?" She said it in a flirting voice. But then in a plain voice she said, "Wheres your wife? Asleep?" All my husband said was , "No, she getting dressed."

This reaaly hurts my feelings. He says that he doesnt flirt back, which IS true, he DOESNT flirt back. However, he doesnt stop the other women from flirting with him, or he never says , "Sorry, i'm married." Wouldn't that lead them on if he lets them flirt with him? I know if i was single and flirted with a guy, and they didnt stop it, i would take it as a sign that they like me! I
