I have found this to be tremendous therapy, knowing I'm not the only one with problems. I'm gaining more confidence as I give out my opinions, advice, I'm feeling better with every answer I give! Heck I came on here to ask a pathetic question (still hurt over it) but wow, healing fast! For those of you asking questions because you are hurt, keep reading a bunch and throwing in your own two cents - you'll start feeling better.

Or maybe how should I tell her? Her and her fiance don't make a lot of money. In fact she is the ONLY one working and has two jobs. She is paying for the wedding by herself whilst he contributes nothing and smokes pot all day long. He doesn't work and has no plans to ever get a real job. They've had fights about his habits that have made her want to end things but then she talks herself into sticking with it becuase she loves him. It makes me uneasy though because I think it's a mistake. I don't want her to regret marrying him years later when they are still broke, still living at his mom's house, and part of HER hardearned paycheck is still paying his drug habits. Should I voice my concerns? And if so how can I do it without losing a best friend? I just don't know how I'm supposed to stand as her maid of honor at the wedding and watch as she makes vows to someone that I think will only hurt her in the end.

If the father didn't sign the birth certificate, does he have any rights to the child? She already filed for Child support, if he was to give up his parental rights...would he have to pay? Paternity has been established, he's the father.

every time we slip it in when they dont want to just to satisfy ourselves we are doing it?

Also, I recommend we all get a neon glow in the dark clock because we sometimes feel like superman and even pose like hulk when were done and think we lasted 2 hours, when in reality we lasted 2 minutes.

We have known eachother (and been friends) for a full year and out of that we have been dating for seven months. I know if I were to tell my parents now they would not go for it at all. We have decided to wait about a year longer to tell them (and to see if we are truly compatable in that sense) but I can't come up with a decent way to tell them so they won't be super upset. I am pretty sure they will accept it (over a couple of weeks after telling them) but I want to do it in a way so that it is respectful and will cause them and us as little pain as possible. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I would like to know if any of you went through a drinking problem and were able to defeat that addiction and now live a happy life with your family? I would also like to know if any of you had an abusive husband and were able to get him through anger management and now live a normal life without having to worry about him ever getting mad and trying to hurt you? The reason I am asking this is because I am going through both situations my husband is an alcoholic and he also has an anger problem. Since Im pregnant and our baby is due in about 2-3weeks I have came back to my parents home since he tried to break a chair on my 37 week belly. Im not sure what is going to happen with my marriage, for now Im trying to focus on my baby and I want to know if there is hope for my marriage to change or better said for my husband to change.

Please not this question is of my 1st one because it seems everyone want to push the blame on my husbands part!
My husband is not to blame here so don't try and start something!
My 1st question was this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070805020538AABgCZl

My husband is really hurt by my actions, I had the affair 10 years ago and for no other reason then I felt I was entitled to it, it was selfish and cruel to him!

He's taking it really bad to the point that when I tried to talk to him he told me to leave or I'll end up in hospital!
Our marriage has been hard but a good one, and although we have no children now I thought we might have them in near future, now this!

Any Ideas on how to save our marriage my husband calling me a slut and wont talk to me!

The O/mans wife told him and showed proof of affair that occurred 10 years ago why is she made now!

Both of them are going at it in REVENGE, against us why now?
Should I wait it out, and forgive this?

He is a 33 yr old married man. Two daughters. And everytime were together we do nothing but laugh. I feel so good when he hugs me. He has never forced me to do anything that i wouldn't feel comfortable doing. He has never slept with me but has performed oral sex on me. Without asking for anything in return. I never performed oral on him. We were caught by the police the other night while he was satisfying me. I haven't spoken to him since.

My Wife and I have a sufficient sexual attitude, but sometimes we party. Then it comes to this. Morning love versus evening love.Evening love to me is after I've had alcohol and we-d to make me mellow. To me morning love is more electric and fun.Do you feel like i do?

A HUSBAND IS AT HOME WATCHING A
FOOTBALL GAME WHEN HIS WIFE INTERRUPTS,

HONEY,
COULD YOU FIX THE LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY?
IT 'S BEEN FLICKERING FOR WEEKS NOW.

HE LOOKS AT HER AND SAYS ANGRILY,
FIX THE LIGHTS NOW?
DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE
GE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO.

FINE,

THEN THE WIFE ASKS,
WELL THEN, COULD YOU FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?
IT WON'T CLOSE RIGHT

TO WHICH HE REPLIED,
FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?
DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE WESTINGHOUSE
WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO

FINE, SHE SAYS
THEN YOU COULD AT LEAST FIX THE STEPS
TO THE FRONT DOOR?
THEY ARE ABOUT TO BREAK

I'M NOT A CARPENTER AND I DON'T
WANT TO FIX STEPS.
HE SAYS, DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE
ACE HARDWARE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO
I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU.
I'M GOING TO THE BAR!!!!

SO HE GOES TO THE BAR AND DRINKS FOR A
COUPLE OF HOURS..................................

HE STARTS TO FEEL GUILTY ABOUT HOW
HE TREATED HIS WIFE, AND DECIDES
TO GO HOME

AS HE WALKS INTO THE HOUSE HE NOTICES
THAT THE STEPS ARE ALREADY FIXED.

AS HE ENTERS THE HOUSE, HE SEES THE
HALL LIGHT IS WORKING.

AS HE GOES TO GET A BEER, HE NOTICES
THE FRIDGE DOOR IS FIXED.

HONEY, HE ASKS, HOW'D ALL THIS GET FIXED?
SHE SAID, WELL, WHEN YOU LEFT I SAT
OUTSIDE AND CRIED.

JUST THEN A NICE YOUNG MAN ASKED ME
WHAT WAS WRONG, AND I TOLD HIM.

HE OFFERED TO DO ALL THE REPAIRS, AND
ALL I HAD TO DO WAS EITHER
GO TO BED WITH HIM OR BAKE A CAKE.

HE SAID,
SO WHAT KIND OF CAKE DID YOU BAKE?

SHE REPLIED,
HELLOOOOO.
DO YOU SEE BETTY CROCKER WRITTEN
ON MY FOREHEAD?
I DON'T THINK SO!

My sister and her husband are getting divorced. Its a long story, but she was totally the one in the wrong. He left for basic training for the Air Force three months after they were married, and she proceeded to cheat on him the day after he left and then would not speak to him anymore. A year and a half later, he is still in training for his job in California and my sister is living with her boyfriend in Missouri. He tried for a long time to make things work between them but about six months ago finally filed for divorce. Now she won't sign the papers. I believe its because she owes Tricare a bunch of money for this trip she made to the hospital before her husband filed for divorce, and she knows if she is taken off his insurance she will have to pay it.
Is there anything he can do to get her to sign the papers and send them to him? What are his legal resources?

A married guy asked me a question when we were hanging out at the pub. the question was if you were married (i am not married just have a partner) and went to town had a few drinks, maybe a dance and a good laugh would you be happy going home alone? Why do you think he would ask me a question like that? It seems confusing to me? Hence asking for others opinions.

My husband is deployed. My husbands BEST friend has been on the verge of divorce for awhile and my husband and I were helping him deal with it before my husband left. since my husband's not here to help, he has continued to talk to me about it. My husband asked me to be there for his friend while we was gone. This man is very close to us. He called (drunk)and said that he had to get something off his chest. He says that me and him are both going through very bad time and we have helped each other out alot. Which is true. Now he wants to know if we can help each other out in "other ways". Like sex. No relationship just sex. I WILL NOT CHEAT ON MY HUSBAND! This is his best friend!! Do I tell my husband? I dont want to ruin their friendship, they've been friends since they were kids. I told him NO, but he said we would talk about it again after i've had time to think. I will not do this! How can i say no and not lose the friendships that are there? This is his best friend!! What do i do?

I am engaged to a man who is currently paying child support for his daughter who is 4 yrs old. His daughters mother is very vindictive now that he is in another relationship and took him to court recently to get more than the $600 a month he currently pays. She lives with her mother but told the judge she currently splits the mortgage with her mother paying her $900 a month and added a bunch of other expenses she has to pay. Neither had a lawyer but my fiance is now ordered to pay $1147 for one child. Which is 40% of his month income. She told him recently once we get married, she is going to seek money from me as well because as his wife she can receive 20% of my income as well. Is this true? We are currently speaking with a lawyer to adjust his payments as well.

My husband has kids from previous marriage. We are planning to have a baby, but I am not pregnant yet.
On the meantime, my mom in law wants my husband to make a will that states that if he dies, everything goes to his kids. Can he do that?
He signed his life insurance (the one he gets from work) to his kids. Is that legal?

Tthe main issue hear is that I make more money then he does. I put the down payment on the house we bought. I bought our cars and I pay the mortgage. Most of his money goes to the ex wife as she won very high alimony and child support.
I think its not fair that he is leaving me with nothing. I usually reject the subject when it comes up, so, there is no will so far (other then putting his kids as beneficiaries on his life insurance).
Is there anything I can do to make sure that I am the beneficiary on his life insurece?

My mom and dad are going through a horrible divorce/separation. She's been dealing with the separation for two years now. She has become my best friend, and she was just starting to get over things, and she wanted to get back out and date, and meet people, she wanted to change her life around. My father recently has yet again, played with her emotions, I won't go into detail. But after being lovey with her, giving her false hopes, etc... He decided to pack up and leave to go be with another woman. He's distinctively said he wants to be with her and her family and not ours any longer. My mother is torn about this, I just want to try and make things easier for her, is there anything I could do?

you got drunk and talked about a woman you heard about at the comic convention. I heard she was hot woman who was amputee who wore the machine gun leg like in "Grindhouse". (haven't seen Grindhouse, she says it looks stupid.) She says I was standing on top of the bed talking about this woman I've never seen and that she was hot. She ended up ignoring me and going to sleep. I had hoped for some hotel sex after the RUSH concert. (Earlier, my wife said she was so happy she would have had sex in the back seat in the parking lot, but there were too many car close by.) In the morning we had sex, but she didn't want to even look at me so she put a pillow over her face while we did it. Later was got breakfast, but then she wouldn't talk to me the whole rest of the day, and still is distant.
