This is just a curiosity question, not a personal one, but do you have any deal breakers in your relationship? What, if any, are the lines your significant other would have to cross for you to call it quits without trying?

I wouldn't tolerate abuse of any type, be it physical, verbal, sexual, emotional, or substance. I wouldn't allow our child to grow up in that atmosphere, nor would I allow our pets to take the brunt of any cruelty. That would be grounds for me to leave immediately.

I also wouldn't accept adultery. Affairs--physical, emotional, or both--are something I couldn't get past. I don't consider having female friends cheating, but we also agree on where friendship ends and the next level begins. Same with porn--downloading a video is fine in our relationship, but anything interactive is not.

Major or habitual lying is the other thing. There's simply no need for it. I can deal with anything my other half has to say as long as he's honest.

What are yours?

I just got married 1 1/2 yrs ago. The problem is that my ex-boyfriend wants me back and I'm torned between the two of them. My husband is the most wonderful man but kinda not a husband material. My ex was my first serious boyfriend, of course I still love him. But I also love my husband. I don't know what to do! Can anyone give me advices or helps to me?

So here's the deal. I have a very sweet & loving husband but for some reason he will not take care of things out in the yard. I just want our house to look as nice on the outside as it does on the inside. I wish he wouldn't let the grass get so long before cutting it. Right now, everything is overgrown & needs to be weedwacked desperately... I would do it myself but I'm about 4 weeks from giving birth & would probably pass out from the heat. I don't want to nag him but I'm honestly getting really annoyed. I mean how difficult is it to take out the broom and sweep a little bit? I did it this morning. It's about 100 degrees outside & this is the last thing I need to be doing. BTW, I keep our house immaculate, no matter how hard it is for me to do right now. My 4 year-old helps me more than my husband does! Advice?

I still have my ex-husbands name because I wanted to have the same last name as my kids. Now I'm getting married in a few months and I have not yet solved the dilemma of whether to give my kids my new hubby's name since he's so loving to them and looking forward to being their "dad". He has no kids but treats mine like they are his and their dad barely wants anything to do with him unless he's forced. I want my kids to share my last name and I want to take the name of my fiance. I was thinking of hyphenating but to keep my ex's name seems kinda disrespectful in my mind...What do you think?

Unless a woman is proven unfit or doesn't show up for the court date....usually custody is granted to them.

I am goint through a very though situation in my marriage and I know it will end pretty soon. Im not looking for anyone at this moment, but I have wondered if there are men out there that are willing to marry and be responsible for a child that isnt theirs. Im currently expecting my 1st baby and unfortunately things arent going anywhere with my husband. I plant to dedicate myself tomy daughter, and maybe later on in life perhaps find a good man that is willing to take me and my daughter. Are there still men that dont care about women that already have a child, or do you men prefer to marry someone that doesnt have any children at all? Im just curious I would like to know how some men think. Thanks!!

My girlfriend refuses to cook. We have been dating for 4 years, and I know this sounds silly, but I need a woman who can take care of my children. And that includes cooking for them. I love her very much, but if she won't cook I could never marry her. How do I approach her about this? It's that time in our relationship where I either break up with her or propose. And if she refuses to get in the kitchen, how I am supposed to propose? Seriously.

i live in one state and my wife lives in another state.I found out that both states i can file for divorce without an attorney.I got all the paperwork done and filed with the courts.I've sent the papers to my wife by certified mail and she didn't pick the papers up from the post office and now the post office is returning them to me.I heard that my wife has to receive these papers in order for the divorce to take place. The next step is for me to pay the sheriff office in the state that she lives in to find her and serve her papers.I really didn't want to do all that, but I don't know all the laws about this and I would like to know what are my other options to keep my wife from being served by a sheriff?

Hubby and I argue on this. I refer to a day coming up in the
days to come as "this week". He says, "next week". Maybe I
should say, 'this next week', so he'll maybe understand better?
He'll get confused all the time on what I'm trying to tell him to
maybe mark on the calender an appointment. So what are
your answers to t his dilema of ours?

My boyfriend and I want to get married, but last night he said he said the he eventually wants to have multiple wives. I'm not really against the idea of polygamy, I just never thought it would happen to me. And it's not like he's a bad guy. If he just wanted more ***, he'd be out those swinger clubs. But he doesn't and he always respects me.

I guess I can sort of see the benifets of a polygamous relationship for men and women, but I'm just kind of surprised right now. How would you feel in this situation?

I got a tattoo a couple of months on my back shoulder...its just a tribal with a rose in the middle. My husband hates it and never wanted me to get it in the first place. Now I feel really bad about getting it and considering removing it because I made the decision without putting his feeling in consideration. I know removal leaves scars and I am willing to live with them. I am 31 and waited a long to get this tattoo, its something I have always wanted. What should I do? And was I was wrong for not considering how he felt about it?

does anyone think about the court rulings for divorce? if women are equal, why does the court still see them as inferior?? i.e.---alimony, custody, etc?

Met this guy online while he was in Iraq. Talked to him wrote letters for almost 7 months & things were good. He came home & things started off kind of rocky, but we got past it. Then things got rocky a couple of months later, but we got past that as well. After a year rolled around between him being in Iraq & then home, I felt like he should have been able to tell me were things were going, but he could not. I met someone else who wanted to be more serious with me & I told him I would go with the other guy because he could not tell me & I am still with the other guy. I bought the military guy a few gifts while he was in Iraq & when he came home he gave me a digital camera. Me choosing the other guy happened the last week of January & I had not heard from the military since (7 months). He said he was out of the service in June and moving out of the state. So why did I get a text today saying send me back my camera? Is this to get a response out of me or does he really want the camera?

her and her husband had been separated for some time and now someone is telling her that she won't be allowed to get a divorce if she is pregnant, which makes no sense to me because the baby isn't even her husbands and yet her husband is refusing to sign the papers right now anyway. Any info on this would be appreciated.

Our daughter will be 16 in 6 weeks my wife thinks we should sell her the car for $3.000.00 (worth 6500.) I think this is a BIG problem. I want her to be able to use MY car when I feel she should use it, not have the attitude I'll never be home, and I (she) can come and go as she pleases It's my car... Also what do you think about for paying for her insurance, or her paying half???
