Well, I don't know what the dumbest excuse for a divorce was, but I know what the dumbest excuse for ever staying together with a lying, cheating , no good spouse is.
That is this. Situation married 40 something year old guy gets caught having sex with another woman who is also married. Her husband snaps a couple of pictures with his digital camara and sends them to the other guy's wife.
She gets the pics and demands an explanation from her husband. Her husband looks her right in the eyes and says
"I wasn't having sex with her. My pants just fell down."
Wife believed her lying, cheating husband and they are still together.
How do I know that ? Simple. I'm the other woman in the story.

The most stupid excuse I heard was the the guy was tired of flushing the toilet after his wife used it in the morning. This after she took a dump.
