The only problem people will see is that your a minor. Other than that... there really isnt a problem. Especially since you two arent sexual. So just ignore the people who tell you that's wrong. They don't know how you two feel for each other. And they shouldnt be judging your relationship just because of the age difference.

Obviously someone is telling you that there is a problem. Some times when the opposite sex is involved we get blind sided by our emotions and feelings for the other person that we can't see 2 feet in front of us. All I can say is trust and believe in your family and friends because in the begining and the end they're the ones who has your best interest in mind. Take heed of what others are telling you and think logically because in all honesty you are too young to think with your heart. You're 16, he's 19...he's a grown man! Eventually he is going to want sex from you sweetie. Just be prepared to face reality.

Well, your a kid and he's a grown man, need I say more?
The problem with kids dating older men is that they have more life experiences and sexual experience and can play mind games and manipulate a child into thinking the way they want them to and manipulate them into doing things. And a lot of the times that is the case, that is exactly what the predator sets out to do, mold a child (young mind) into the woman they want them to be. As a grown woman, knows you can't change a person. But its your life and it appears you see nothing wrong with it...just live and learn when its all said and done!

There is nothing wrong with liking him but remember you are only 16 and have a whole life ahead of you. As long as he supports you, like staying in school and getting a education but seriously getting serious with him, not a good plan. You should be out with your friends having fun. And......he's 19, well let me tell you honey, if your not having sex with him, he most likely is with someone else.

Remember that you are jailbait and he is an adult. ANY sex will put him in jail for a long time. Other than that, there is no real problem with the difference. Make sure you are 18 (preferrably married) before you have sex. Good Luck.

Absolutely not :) As long as your both ok with it then there isn't a problem. My boyfriend and I have a 3 year difference. (I am 17 and he just turned 20)

I don't see it as a problem. When I was 16 my first boyfriend was 20...he respected me and didn't force me to do anything I didn't want to do and put no pressure on me

Sweet Pea the laws see it as a predator. wait till you are18 before you make any sexual decisions at this point. If you love yourself you will wait till marriage, but if you just had to be with him you will wait till you are 18. Good luck!
