I have found this to be tremendous therapy, knowing I'm not the only one with problems. I'm gaining more confidence as I give out my opinions, advice, I'm feeling better with every answer I give! Heck I came on here to ask a pathetic question (still hurt over it) but wow, healing fast! For those of you asking questions because you are hurt, keep reading a bunch and throwing in your own two cents - you'll start feeling better.

I hear ya... I wanted to ask a rather dumb question too, and ended up a Top Contributor... How the heck did that happen? This has really helped me get through a rough spot..... Now, I hope that my so called wisdom can help others too. Time to give back now.....

I continue to read to see if I ever find something like my issue, since I'm too chicken to ask, when I did ask a health re: women's health the first answer was from a man no less, but yes sometimes answering is like therapy cause most of the ones I have answered I have had happen so it's almost like as you said, knowing someone else besides me has been thru it too.

Yes. It is a way to feel good knowing you are helping someone with a problem. It helps you feel reassured that if you have a problem, perhaps a likeminded person will be able to answer your questions. I think of it like insurance. You may never need a question asked, but you will drive more confident knowing you have it. That alone will help you avoid accidents.

Good Luck,
Jer

I love answering the questions. And yes, it is like therapy for me too. The only thing that gets me a upset is to see how many women (and men too) are settling for cheaters, abusers, liars, etc. It scares me to think that that is all that is out there.

Last Nov. my wife of almost 16 years left me for a coworker and it was devestating. I used this tool to answer my questions and it helped me so much to know that I was not alone. I think my depression lasted about 3 months where it should have lasted much longer. Its fun to!

I do, but sometimes it is a little upsetting when all you get are hurried, or rash two word answers that barely have any merit to the question asked but sometimes you find gold. :) And those make all the other times perfect.

Yes, I try to give good answers, heart felt. It annoys me to see some of these hurried and smarta** answers. It is helpful and it is great to see most of us here really trying to help others and yes, it is healing.
