sh*t keeps going the same. One go day out of the week with my spouse is this enough? I say no, we have no sexual relationship and no hopes of one. But instead of being a caring person that is not the case.

My husband and I have been married 18 years. Two years ago he decided to return to school to pursue a masters in education. He was taking night classes, working on school projects and working days (we never saw him except for weekends). I work full-time and had full responsibility for our home and children. Now that he's graduated, he tells me that he loves a woman he has been having an affair with. They were in classes together and have been having an affair for about 6 months. She filed for divorce after meeting my husband - he says she was never happily married and it has nothing to do with their relationship. He says he loves her but doesn't want to leave me or my kids. I'm so confused. I love him with all my heart and don't know if counseling will help. I've asked him to go to marriage counseling - he's not sure it will help so he doesn't want to go. Should I give up or try to win him back? If he cheats once will he cheat again?

The modern idea of marriage and Western culture dictates one man for one woman for life. However, in the pagan past men tended to sustain more than one woman. Also the divorce rate seems to signal a flaw in the standard rule.

Would it be better for a man to have a secret affair and keep his family together (i.e. "cheat") or should he break his family apart in order to satiate his desires (acceptable in todays culture through divorce)?

I'm a guy and I was with a girl and I didn't want to but she kept telling me to have sexual relations with her or else that made me that gay (I didn't wanna have sex with her cuz she was kinda not good looking and I aint a man hoe) I had to prove I was straight it was her peer preasure.

I heard it was rape when you say no and don't want to the first time but you are preasured to have sex.

The first time my husband did, was when we were on our second date and he gave me a gold necklace with a gold cross with diamond chips embedded in it. He said he felt bad I lost my pendant a couple weeks ago. (AWWW)
The second time was when he arranged a trip to Hawai'i, and arranged to have the kids taken care of while we were away. I didn't have to plan anything except which dresses I wanted to pack!

Wive's: is there anytime your husband took your breath away with a special gift or event?

I am in the process of going through a divorce. I have met a very special woman that I have developed very strong feelings for. I have told her how I feel. Her answer to me was "time and patience - if it is meant to be it will be". What is your take on that? Are any of the same feelings there?

I've been cheating on my husband with a younger guy for a while. I sometimes think he knows because he'll make cryptic comments, but that could just be my guilty conscience. I want to end the affair--I don't love the guy--and not even tell my husband. But I'm afraid I'll live in guilt forever if I don't come clean. Is it more or less selfish to tell him?
