Marriage & Divorce - 4 April 2007

Ours was a love marriage. He has been cheating on me for so many years now. He is crazy of women & would go to any extend to get one. He was caught with women many times. I have 2 kids. To cut a long story short, I recently met a guy who showed lots of interest in me. He is infact a friend of my husband. He used to regularly come home & I somehow became very fond of him. He too got close & intimate. He knows about my problems & does not suggest anything. Calls me regularly & I find great comfort in him. I just cannot forget him. He knows I have feelings for him. One day I am sure, he will go away. What will I do? I have a small job. My husband is doing well, but cannot get over his obssession with women. Provides for us, but otherwise is very indifferent. Do I deserve a better life or should I just be put up with it. Its impossible to leave him, since I won't be able to take care of my kids on my own. (financially I mean). I have no close relatives & I am alone.

I'm 33, shes 31. We've been together since I was 18 and she was 16. Married for almost 8 years now. Two beautiful little boys and more or less things between us havent been that bad.

When we first got married she always thought I was too flirtatious and assumed I fooled around on the side. I didnt - but because she felt this way she withheld sex from me every so often. Sometimes for 2,3, or 4 weeks at a time.

After begging, pleading, and trying to convince her I was faithful - I got tired of it and 8 months later really did start seeing other women for lack of what I wasnt getting at home.

Well.. I was with 4 women a total of 8 times over the course of 5 years. Seeing how this wasnt the way I wanted to live life, I confessed in November to my wife to clean my soul and be honest with her.

After 15 years of being only mine - she started chatting online and meeting up with guys for sex. Shes very involved in this now with no end in site no matter what I say. Help...

we have tried everything, ingoring her does'nt help. Last night she was on a good one, there are probely ten messages of her going off on a rampage, saying vindictive things and how she is going to ruin his life. She says she is going to tell everyone he has aids and a herion user and cheater. That's considerd slander I think. They have no kids and were married about a year or so. We are working on the divorce now.....but she scared me, and I don't scare easily but she is really really a freak. I can go on and on about her, but the question is , can we get a restraining order for harressing phone calls? We do ignore them and we are changing our phone numbers again. But she will find them out again and it will start all over. Any help would be apprieciated

If you have ever been torn between 2 guys how did you pick which guy to go to? Did it work? I'm a guy who dated a girl for 3yrs. We broke up a year ago, and she had a rebound relationship with someone else. They lasted about 6 months. Durrng then she & I stayed close and even had lots of sex. she said she still loved me. Well they broke up and she stayed in contact with him. She is 28 he is 20 and Im 26. She is back with him, so is this a rebound again? will it work? I love her with all my heart and she knows that. So, what do I do? I've chased her, bought her things, been there to listen and help etc. She has lied & I forgave her. I know you need to know more but we could be here all day. I intended to destroy her marriage like she had mine and tipped off her husband that she was cheating. Didnt say with who neither did I reveal my self to him.
However it seems he had been tracking his wifes movements because he confronted her and was clear with whom she was having an affair.
My husband is angry with me bse he says I betrayed him to another Mans wife, I denied the accusation bse I did not even give the guy any information.He has since left home that the other guy is threatening to kill him.
Should I feel guilty and Men was it so wrong of me, what wld u do if yr wife tipped off the other guy? Is it really the problem or the fact that you have been cheating on your wife?Main issue is the other Guy has all evidence against my husband and not from me.
I do not intend to ask him back bse he is not even sorry.
Please help me and share with me out there.

My wife had a 18 month affair, she said she was used and dumped. I love my wife so much for 25 years and 4 children.She confessed and begged for my forgiveness. I've forgiven her but I can'nt forget. I usually stay up until he gets home, around 11 p.m. and get to bed around 12:30. I get up at 6:30, and he sleeps in. Meals are a problem, too.

i was engaged before(fixed mirrage). during 8 months, i had doubts about going on -also we didn't get along that well and from the begining i didn't accept his looks- evantually we broke our engagment and i felt a huge wieght was lifted off my chest. after six months, i got engaged to anathor man, 90% percent of his qualities i love so much. the problem is: i still wonder sometimes wether i was doing the right thing or not(i have this fear that what happened to me before will happen to me again) i went through alot of pain and i don't want to go through it again. tell me how to release this unconsiuse fear? idon't want to blow something good in my life from this useless fear. thanx

Three weeks ago, my husband told me he didn't love me, never has and only married me 13 years ago because he was afraid I'd hurt myself if he didn't. Two weeks ago, he went to a concert with a "friend" and didn't come home unitl 6:30 AM. He told me he spent the night at her house, and was in love with her. Then he told me that they planned to move into her house together, but wanted a week to be sure it would work. I went to visit family for a week. When I returned, he wasn't home. We have a business together. He wants me to continue to run the business. I am so heart sick, and have been considering filing an alienation of affection suit against his girlfriend. Would you?
She has been a client of the business for 5 years. I am 9 years older than my husband, the girlfriend is 9 years younger....making her 18 years younger than I am. I don't want this situation to change me into someone that I'm not. Right now, I am just sad and looking for advice. Can anyone help?

Have been married 6 yrs getting a divorce not a good relationship hubby cheated and got his ex. wife pregnant our first year of marriage along with another affair. I had a long standing on and off affair with an ex.bf that resulted in my 3 yr old son(hubby new this) and to my suprise i just found out my ex.bf fathered my 5 yr old daughter(i had no clue).The divorce has the potential to get very nasty.To avoid this i am considering hubbys deal to liquidate all marital assets 50/50?I would be walking away with nothing but a check and personals but i would also have to drop hubbys name from kids b-certificate or else he will sue me?He said he would be willing to give alimony for 6 months but wants nothing to do with my kids. Take the deal or not?

When my husband and I married 2 years ago, it disgusted me when he looked at porn although he didn't view it all that much. Now it doesn't bother me so much, some, but not as much. It wasn't his character to do that. He witheld the information and I found out about it on an A.T.M. reciept. He said he used the money to loan his coworkers for them to get a lapdance. Him and his friends are all in their fifties. Prior to this incident we discused him staying out of those places. I am hurt over this . We always seemed to have the best relationship, and a great sex life.The girls in the stripclub are young , and beautiful. how can a woman my age compete with that. I work out at the gym, but I'm older. the women at the stripclub are younger than my daughters., and we have grandaughters.What does this say to me? We are in a second marriage. He said that his coworkers forced him to go. We did get some counseling over it, but it still has made me look at him differenly. while my wife was away and she knew my wife was away. She started crying on my shoulder about her husband problems and I held her and consoled her. Then she started stroking my arms and told me what a good man I was and kissed me on the lips. I had an erection and we almost reached a breaking point but I backed off. I told her I didn't know what happened and she told me that we must have chemistry. This was the closest I ever came to cheating. It just fell in my lap, I was not looking for it but I think I handled it well. I feel like a good man today.

My mother-in-law has been estranged from her husband for 32 years (both never bothered to get a divorce). Now he is approaching retirement and just served her with divorce papers because he doesn't want her to get any of his pension money. They haven't shared a home in 32 years, he never paid any child support or alimony. He just left.

Is she going to get part of his pension? Won't the courts look at the fact that they haven't lived together since 1975? I can't see how a judge can honestly reward her any money?

my mom humilliated her this morning telling her lots of stuff that really hurt my fiancee. Why are there some people who can not forgive others easily if life is short and it is much better if you take all grudge and hatred out your heart? I have been married for almost 8 years and in the past year I have become very unhappy. I love my husband but not like i should. I love him cause we have a past together and kids together. He has a short fuse with a bad temper. He doesn't hit me or our kids just alot of yelling. He doesn't help around the house. He just watches cartoons with the kids on the couch most of the time. Well I want more in life. He isn't a terrible husband and father but he is good either. So is it better to put my kids through a divorce or to stick it out being unhappy for their sake?
