My family has never had a good family past and now I feel things have gotten worse. Every year, all my life, my father's had a new girlfriend. He has never really loved them. This year I'm in the 8th grade and during my spring break I had gone up to Crested Beutt, Colorado to snowbroard. Apperently on March 12, the day after I had left my father had got married to his girlfriend and didn't tell anyone. I didn't find this out unti 5 weeks later. What makes it worse is that his "wife" doesn't like me and she does mean terrible things to get between me and my father. When I was living with my father I was forced to play with her kids, I had to play what they wanted to play, I had to take them to the park when Kirsten didn't feel like it. Dad doesn't truelly lover her it's just like all the others where she'll bleed him dry and then leave. right now I'm torn I don't know how to deal with this large hand that life has delt to me. Someone please help me...

Don't they know that if a man doesn't put a ring on their finger, he doesn't want them to have his baby?

Why is it that a man and a woman will not marry unless they have this "FANTASY LOVE".

When you get somebody pregnant, I say you give up your future right then and there. From now on It's not about screwing some random chic...its about PROVIDING and BEING RESPONSIBLE.

I don't care how many women want to be indipendent and don't need a mans help...but in this situation BOTH the male and female need to take FULL RESPONSIBLITY for the child to ensure that he/she is more sucessfull than the both of you losers.

This is the creed I live by. Of course this isn't the most ROMANTIC thing to do, but the most PRACTICAL.

So answer me this MEN, why do so many of you run out on your chic so you can continue to sow wild oats?

My husbands son from a previous marriage has revently moved in with us. He is 16 and before now he only came over maybe once a month for a couple of days and we all have always got along well. But now I have become the disciplinarian and I have found out that at his old school he had gotten suspended, had ISS, or was wrote up 13 times this year so far and am trying to get him to stay in school and out of trouble. My husband will not make him mind and my husband works out of town mon-fri and doesn't have to deal with day to day problems. We are arguing more and more. What should I do. My husband is threatening to move out and go live where he works at all week which is in another state.

I live with my girlfriend, who has an adorable daughter, for over 3 years. During the first 2 years we have been working in the same company together until i started my own business over a year ago. She still works in the same company and recently moved to a new account where the male gender covers 80% of the population in that account. She recently (Like 5 months ago) started going on overtime on a daily basis mostly 2-3hours a day.Our schedule has not been cooperative too. When Im at home she is not, when she is home I am not. We have been also arguing, before she tells me she going out with her "co-workers". And lastly because of her "overtimes" I end up taking care of her kid most of the time. On the other hand she still shows affection to me, and I have this reputation of being jealous because by ex-girl before my recent cheated on me 3 times during our 4 yr relationship. What shld I do to divert my attention or get piece of mind.Am I a loser, for just taking it in w/o a complaint?

Im a 28 year old woman who just found out a month ago that my husband cheated on me with my younger sister in the past. We have 2 beautiful boys and been together for ten years. There is just so much going through my head right now because i love him so much and trusted him, i never would of thought of this happening i never thought he had it in him. My own family can't believe it, because he was such a great man, i myself can't believe it. Well this is what happend our first child was born in 1999 so this affair started in late 2000 and continued until the middle of 2003. I had my second child in 2002 so this was going on before, during , and after the birth of our second son. I want to fogive him because i do love him and because we have alot of dreams together, but at the same time i feel wrong to even stay with him and kinda get made at myself. I would really appreciate everybodys opinion on this matter it would really help me out. thank you.

my husband and i have been married for 10 years. we have been taking care of 2 kids that his ex-wife didnt want for 6 years now &they are 8 and 9) she comes around when she feels like it, which isnt enough. she calls the house when she needs something but never asks about the kids much less to speak to them. about a month ago, she demanded to spend a weekend with her kids. because her request was rare, my husband went ahead and allowed them to go. he said that he knows they want to spend time with their mother and that they would see what type of MOM she really was. when she dropped them off she complained about how we are raising them and them calling me mom. she told them never to call me mom which upset the boys. because i saw how upset they were , i couldnt control myself, i called her and tried to speak nicely. she went off so i told her how bad of a mother she was. this has started a war between her and i. was i wrong to stand up for MY BOYS? my husband supports me.

I really want to be open with my husband about what makes me unhappy in our relationship. The thing is, I feel like this may come off as being overly critical. I would prefer to tell him how wonderful he is everyday... but wouldn't be honest. I thought we both had the same idea about what being married meant. Now he seems like a different person.

I don't want to be so negative... but how can I tell him what I need from our relationship so that it sinks in?

My husband is a good man. He also has OCD and is a compulsive gambler. Right before Christmas, he hit my 8 yr. old (his step-son). I called the police and he is on probation now because it was a first offense. We are trying to patch things up, but he refuses to admit to his gambling problem. He blames our financial difficulties on me "talking him into major purchases"- which may or may not be true. I think it is really all the "little things" like hitting the drive-thru every night on his way home from work, and the like. He does nothing around the house. His attitude is that he earns the money and I do EVERYTHING else. It is not that I am perfect- far from it, in fact. I know there are things for me to work on, but I am really stuck on this right now, because he wasn't always like this. When we first started dating, he made me feel more loved than anyone ever had-even my parents. I struggle with Major Depression, and that I began to like myself again was a big deal to me.

How many have tried to walk away but were persuaded by their spouse to stay ? Can a marriage survive after one person has attempted to leave ? What if they only stay out of pity ?

I deal with this often....I just wanted to get the password for our new laptop so I could do some stuff...download a program, to be specific. We are married for over 5 years, getting seperated at the moment....but trying to be civil until we can get our affairs in order (military, living overseas)....but still, having no respect for me is one main reason why I feel we don't get along....he feels being respectful is kissing my a*s and that I am asking too much...I feel very sad because I love him, but little things like this make me realize why I can't live with someone who can't just say, "Excuse me!" Am I CRAZY, or is he really the victim of an over- sensative woman, like he says he is?

I have been seperated from my husband for 4 months now. While we were living together I knew that he used cocaine on the weekends when we went out. I know it was not alot. I did not approve of it but he still did it. Now that we are seperated he uses it even more, where his eyes are almost popping out and he is making gestures with his mouth. I actually feel sorry for him. He also sells it. He does not see my children on the weekends , he prefers to go out and get high with his friends. He does not give me child support either. He is currentlly on probation. The thought of calling the cops or his po officer have came to my mind. I want to do that so that he can stop doing what hes doing... What should I do?
