Example of this can be seen in the answers of my previous question of "Are Indian Women not Humans with no emotions and qualities of a Human Being / or are they Super Humans or God?"

I am not against Women, I am against the biased attitude of the Indian Judicary, Legal and Law'n Order Machinery.

Feminism I would not blame, would encourage it.

But is it Fanatism that causes them to take and make issues personal rather than understanding the jist???

Is it after the cheater leaves their spouse and marries this person? Does the stigma of being the "other woman/man" ever wear off?

P.S. I am not the "other woman".

My oldest daughter is from my first marriage and her father has never seen her( we seperated when I was 3 months along). My current husband adopted her 3 years ago and he has been a dad to her since she was 3 months old. She is now 6 and is asking questions about why she and her sister( from current marriage). My husband says that he could care less if she ever knew. Personally I think that it would be something that she would want to know. What should I do? Should I wait till she is old enough to figure it out herself or tell her soon? Should I go against my husbands opinion? HELP???

To make a long story short, I'm dealing with an in-law situation, but I don't have to see my in-laws everyday,. I'm only anxiou to go family reunions and get depressed for a while after.I've been talking to my maid of honour , a good friend, about my little anxieties. But I after I made it clear, that I'll never change my husband for anything or let the in-laws bother our marriage. I was shocked that my good friend asked"so..,u will u wil be with him forever, then?" I replied""yes, aren't we married?" I don't understand what she means? Last night I was still stunned by her remarks. Sometimes I don't know what friends want?My problem was not a big deal, and apart from that, my husband and I were still committted to each other. why is she being negative? It seems she's wishing that I get a divorce or was never true about her wishes on my wedding day. She is also divorced and much older.

I am going thru a divorce right now(12-1/2 yrs),is it normal to kinda have second thoughts or just feel torn between the two of staying or divorcing???I am thinking maybe its cause i'm only 31 and been with him since 18,we have 1 daughter a 11yr old..maybe its because i feel hes the only one i really ever known,or maybe just because it was such a long relationship and definitley alot of love there..i still love him very much. We just had trust issues and he has totally changed. I just cant get past things myself, even though the issues were 3yrs ago..he just used to be so sneaky and secretive alot.We have been seperated almost a 1yr.
So is it normal to be having 2nd thoughts and feel basically torn??or is this what everyone feels??
Dont get me wrong we had plenty of great times, but also alot of rocky ones too..just confused wonder if anyone else had these feelings divorcing???

He says I'm a person who challenges him. My behavior makes him deal with the sides of his character he doesn't want to deal with.
Do you have any ideas about those sides of his character? What can it be?

Mother died without a will. After probate, money and subsequent oil royalty allocations were dispersed so that half of the total went to the four children, and the other half went to the husband. Is it ethical for the husband (also the father of the four children) to claim the half when he wanted a divorce - which he so wrote in a letter one week prior to the death? On the other hand, it could be said that the children are greedy for feeling that his half should be allocated to them. The children were in their twenties at the time of the death and now they are in their 40’s – older and wiser in worldly matters.

I don't mean to be sexist but, when two people get divorced, why does the woman almost always get the house, kids, and car? And half of the man's money? now if she earned some of all this i don't have a problem but usually the women don't have a job, leaving the man to do all the work, and then they get half of the money when they leave.

my husband was never married to his 3 year old's mother, and is in a custody battle right now. He has to provide his tax returns to his son's mother - what rights do I have as a step-parent to not disclose any information that is MY personal information? My income, our joint property tax and mortgage interest amounts, etc? I thought privacy laws protect, and I don't want his ex-girlfriend (son's mother) having any of my personal information. There was no previous marriage, thus no divorce - custody and child support issues are the only legal battle we have.

We are a late 40's couple with all of the kids out of the house. We want to try new things before we get too old. We both have fantasies and fetishes we wish to explore so we want to give it a try.

So, for those of you with experience, what are we to expect in the beginning? Emotions, jealousy, etc. ?

I recently got married and moved in with my husband. We have one home computer, I checked the history of web sites that have been searched and my husband is watching girls in youtube videos and looking at some inappropriate photos of woman. I wouldn't call it porn. Am I not good enough?? It makes me feel so ugly, and I'm not. Has this happened to any other woman? Men - Why? What's it good for?

She married at 19 and is now 27.....she has 3 children.....he is both verbally and physically abusive.....both in front of the children.....she has left him several times.....has called the cops...but his family has a "big name" in the community so they convince her to go back....her mother -n- law told her that God says you are to do whatever your husband wants....I've said everything that could be said to her.....she has the classic battered wife answers...."I shouldn't have said that to him"...or "I did this to provoke it".......I've told her that NOTHING she could say or do justifies being beaten......I worry about the children....she is an educated woman...why wont she leave him?

Has anyone ever been denied maintenance? I have a grounds trial in two weeks that will help decide what the maintenance should be. He does not want to give me any money at all since I don't want to be married anymore. It will be 26 years this year. The grounds are cruel and inhuman treatment....(mental abuse).

My mother is Unfit to take care of her children. They are ages 10,9 and 6. She and my stepfather divorced and even though he was severly disabled he provided them with a good stable life and they remained almost solely in his care. The courts awarded them joint custody just because of his disability but would not award her full custody under the GAL verdict that she is "mentally unfit". Unfortunately my stepfather with whom i was very close to passed away last month. Since then she has continued to live in a horrible lifestyle with the children. She lets her boyfriend sleep in their house, she doesnt cook them meals or buy food, she has no job and is irresponisble over all. She is 37 yrs old. I am 20 and due to her inability to raise children properly i spent a good part of my teenage years raising them myself. All of them have stated they would rather live with me and i dont feel she could give them a decent life. Is it possible for me to get custody of them?

I met this girl in 1984 when I was 16, she being 14. We stayed in touch off and on over the years. In 2000 she contacted me and we started talking daily and within a month we both told each other how we had really felt about the other all these years. We finally realized that our hearts belonged together and we agreed to meet after 15 years. We shared a wonderful 6 month long distance relationship together before she walked away. In 2006, nearly 3 years not talking to her she calls me up and tells me how she made a mistake and that she knows that we belong together and she wants to leave her husband for me because she truly loves me. February she left him and came to stay with me for 3 weeks before he talked her into coming back. 2 weeks ago she left him again for me but went back after he begged her. She says she feels guilty for hurting him but wants to be with me and if she could leave him without him hurting she would be gone so fast. Do I wait for her or what? She is my true love!

My fianced is a mama's boy. he makes almost no decisions on his own, and we've just bought a house. This woman has decorated our house (we're paying the bills, not her) from paint to dishes to carpet and flooring. needless to say, I'm pissed, and my fiance doesn't see why. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions? I just don't know what to do to make the situation any different. I am also in counseling for depression and anorexia, and he talked to his mom about that. they decided that i don't need that counseling "because it's expensive and we should put that money towards the house." I'm sick of everything being his mother's opinions, and his mother's thoughts, not his. it hasn't always been like this, only since we bought the house. Any advice would be welcome......

My wife and I were on our way home from a family dinner yesterday. 1/2 way though the drive home, my wife proclaimed that she had gotten her period and started yelling at me to 'step on it' so we could get home sooner.

I started going a bit above the speed limit trying to get her home when I noticed an officer behind me. I was pulled over and he asked why we were going so fast.

I explained to him the humiliating situation of my wife having her period and even went so far as to show him the stained seat. He didn't care and kept us there another 30 minutes while doing a background check on me and my marker plates.

Needless to say, in this 30 extra minutes the seat was stained a great deal more.

Had this officer not been so RUDE to keep us there for 30 extra minutes I could have probably just cleaned it up with a sponge...now, I'm going to have to have the seat professionally cleaned.

The ticket cost me 300.00 and I'm going to plean not guilty..am I right in doing so?
