You've done all you really can do, you signed the papers. Spending time with him and doing things with him may give him the false sense of you two getting back together. If he wants to talk, talk. Call him up on the phone. Maybe do lunch, but let things end there. Let him know that.

Sometimes it is best to stay away. I was being nice to my ex, my little girl's father, and every time I would call him, he saw it as a chance for us to get back together. He became very angry when I started dating new people. I did not do him any good by trying to comfort him through the break up. He made my life difficult as he thought he still had a chance, when I met my present husband all he did was put the new man down, he kept telling me how old my new husband looked and how unhappy I was going to be with new man. I finally stopped the friendship, we only talk about our daughter, which he calls her once in a blue moon, he can see her any time he wants, and he does not pay a dime of support, it hurts her that he just blew her off, luckily my new husband cares for her, and comforts her when she is sad that her father doesn't even call her. Comfort him by telling him to seek out new friends, hopefully he will take your advice.

Is there a court order? Does he not want to move out and if not, why? If you guys are divorced, there wouldn't be a reason he would want to stay around, or you for that matter. If there isn't a court order, get one. Let your attorney that he hasn't moved yet. Unless your situaiton is different, but you should have to help him move, I wouldn't think.

Stay away, don't contact them in any way, ever, at all. It will just make that person miss you even more and wonder if there is a chance of the two of you getting back together.

Don't try to help him!

Let his friends take him out and keep him distracted. If you try to help him now you will only make things worse.
