My ex-wife has been dating a man from another state and is possibly getting married soon. We have shared parenting of our 7 year old daughter and are both custodial parents. I have my daughter at least 50% of the time, alternating every 2-3 days depending on my work schedule. My ex and I still communicate for my daughters' sake. I asked her where her new man lives and she said the location was about an hour travel time away from my daughters' school and me. I live 1/2 a mile from the school. I told my ex-wife I didn't want to move our daughter out of her school district. She said if they do end up getting married, she said would commute her to and from her current school. I then said again I don't want her leaving the school district. This would cause more trouble in my daughter's schedule. I live the closest to my daughters' family and friends on both sides of her family than my ex would. What rights do I have as her father? This would cause more travel time for myself also.

He's inattentive, rarely at home, and when he is home--he doesn't seem to even notice I'm there. We've been together for several years and I've told him how I feel. I've even told him that most of the time I don't want to be married to him anymore. No matter what I say or do, it doesn't change his attitude toward me or our marriage. I feel like the most unimportant thing in his life right now. I've had the opportunity to cheat on him and it seems like a better idea every day. I know it's wrong and we should tough it out "for better or worse" but I'm tired of being ignored and unloved.

My fiance & I have alot in common but there are somthings that bother me. I have talked to him about it but at the end he always has a reason behind his ideas & I feel like I misunderstood by asking him those questions. He tells me every single day that how much he loves me, how beautiful I am, he will treat me like a princes & take care of me, he will make up for all the hardship I went through with my own relatives & above all he is jenuine. I love him to death. Right now he lives with his parents & has a checking acct with them. After we get married all his mail is going to continue to go to his folks house for awhile. He will open a new acct for us but won't add my name on it for 1 year because I am a victim of Id theft. I would have to hand over my paycheck to him & add his name on my CD acct & mutual funds. He said he will add my name to his roth IRA after we get married but now he has his moms name. He wants to take his parents houseware for us & buy them a new houseware.

I am asking this because my wife left me and has met someone else. We have only been separated two months. I hope she sees what she is doing and wants to work it out. I know theres others with the same problem. If you need someone to talk with e-mail me. A womans point of view would be nice. We was married 8 years and I think she will come crawling back when she sees what she is doing. No smart @ss answers please.

Since my son was born 10 years ago my wife's sex drive has plummeted to the point where she never says she wants it anymore. She doesn't kiss or hug me anymore and I'm becoming less and less 'connected' to her and I'm afraid it's gotten to the point that I'm considering divorce or cheating on her. Neither of which I want but I don't feel I have much choice. Trying to decide if I get divorced whether I should wait until my 10 year old and 13 year old are out of the house in eight years or take action now. Not sure I can go another eight years without some form of affection.

I have been in a relationship for 2 years and engaged. We got on so well & were into each other so much.
She was married for 15 years & her ex left her and their 2 year old boy (whom he didn't want!) for another women, which crushed & force her to councilling. We got talking at a mutual friend's birthday and hit it off, then she pursued & caught me.
Things were going along well in our relationship, until her ex finished relations with the women he left her for. She started playing on the pregnancy and kick me out 3 times with pretty lame excuses. I have spent the last 2 months trying to finish stuff at her house for the baby coming & she has been quite cold toward me. She said her ex & her are friends, he's a support at the moment and nothing is going on, but yet he is staying nights at her place. I'm torn by all this & now have to deal with being a dad under these conditions. Want is she doing? Does she still have feelings for him? How will this pan out & how should I handle it!

hey everyone i found a ring for my beautiful princess, but i have a few things i need advice on.well i went to many shops and one ring caught my eye. Its a half carat round solitare. Its a vs2 in clarity (crystal/feather), but when u look at in the microscope you still don't see anything. Its a d in color (the best you can get) its certified. Its set in a platinum band (like the tiffany's setting). the ring out the door with tax and all is 3,200 and its at c.d peacocks. I think its a nice ring. So, my question is ladies if you were given this ring would u love it? and second question is that a decent price for a ring like that? I just want something really nice for my princess. I love her so much and i want to make her smile. Just at the moment can't afford a huge rock. Figure we can always upgrade in a year or so. so pls give me your advice on things and any other ideas is helpful thanks a lot.

I have been preparing to leave my verbally/emotionally abusive husband. He has been physical a while back in the past by choking me on 3 occasions. My mind keeps telling me to leave but my heart ends up making me stay. Despite his verbal attacks I still care for him( he also has a sweet side like he's 2 different people). When he's mean I have the confidence to leave, then he goes into sweet mode and I find it hard to gather the strength to leave. It's very confusing. I start to feel hope and we are in counseling but I think he's just going to pacify me. He tells me 'his people' are more important than me and intimidates me by screaming 1 inch away from my face( I can feel his spit). He says he doesn't care what I think or feel and that I can leave him the **** alone otherwise. I have gotten used to this like it's normal after almost 13 years. We have 2 small kids( boy & girl). I can go live with my mom but I always feel if i stick around he will change. I'm so confused & sad. I am 34

(neo-racism: discrimination by culture or nationality).
I simply wanted to live with her here in my country cause we had good jobs here and I know how inmigrants use to be discriminated in Europe. On the contrary, here in Latinoamerica always inmigrants hav been welcomed.

My Best friend of 15 years is about to end her marriage of 11 months she is 2 years younger than i am and just had a son. We have been there for each other through everything. She is talking to a guy and i keep warning her she needs to be careful because her marriage may be in a "rough" patch and that she doesn't need to do anything she will regret if her and her husband get back together. I tell her over and over again that just because she thinks her husband is cheating doesn't mean he is. She is extremely hormonal she had a baby in september and everything seems to trigger her emotions..Should i back off and just let her do her own thing or should i continue to be the little voice in her head telling her to be careful?

My husband is so depressed he never wants to do anything. He has had a rough childhood I think and often turns to being angry to cover the hurt he feels. Problem is- the anger is directed at me. I am not sure whether he will change w/ counselling. Do I give up? we have 3 kids and our 7th anniv. in march, 07. I love him very much and hate to see him hurting. But I can't let him hurt me either.

My father in law, (I'll call him "Mr. Smith") called today and asked to speak to my husband but he sounded really drunk on the phone and I didn't think it was a good idea to give my husband the phone at this time so I just asked him if I could take a message and get my husband to call him back. Mr. Smith asked why he couldn't talk and I told him I didn't want to give the phone to my husband because he sounded very mean and drunk on the phone at the time and I was afraid he might upset my husband. He got really mad at me and said when he comes up to visit for Thanksgiving he is going to give me the belt for being a bad girl. I told him my husband wouldn't let him spank me for this and he said he would be watching me like a hawk for me to mess up. I'm really scared because my husband let him discipline me a year ago when I was being a brat. I got upset and told him he should get his own drink. I know that was wrong but he was being so mean. Do you all think its okay to be
