Marriage & Divorce - 16 November 2006

I am going through a divorce, and am not able to concentrate on anything in my schedule. I know I have not done anything wrong in my past relationship, but even then due to my in-laws, we are getting separated. Can anyone please share their feelings during divorce? Are their any social gatherings which you can go to kill time? Is it right to look for another partner to forget about past life? Ours was a love marriage in India, so is it okay to look for a arranged marriage second time. Should I look for divorce women in my second relations (since I will be divorcee), or is it better to look for never married women (since I am not that aged). Any suggestions will help a lot. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I have been with him for awhile now, and about once a week i get disgusted with him. He lives in a dumpy apartment with a dirty roommate, has a crappy job, wears lame clothes and walks like he has a stick between his legs. BUT he is the sweetest, most sincere man i have ever known and we have a lot of interests in common. He supports me emotionally and we get along wonderfully. I feel caring and love for him one day, then annoyance and disgust with him the next. How can I marry someone I'm not sure I'm 100% in love with? If I break it off it will break his heart, and probably mine too.

My bf and i have on and off since freshmen year of highschool we met in middleschool but hated each other till the end of 8th grade. I will be turning 24 years old soon and i really want to get married and to start a family. It took months of convicing to get him to ask me to marry him. He does not believe in it his parents went through a nast divorce.When we first started talking about wether we wanted kids or not he said no and i said yes i wanted kids then he said well maybe i have to think about it?I found out last week he had a vasectomy done last year and never told me.I feel heart broken i have always wanted kids and i have been getting the baby itch recently. Make matters worse he does not even seem into getting married says he just gave in to shut me up what do i do?

my husband is the manager at this really nice restaurant. there is this 22 year old girl (shift manger) that calls our house and his cell phone almost everyday. i have met her and i can't stand her! my husband had a interview for another job yesterday and she called and left a message to wish him good luck and was very flirty. i got soooo mad. i told my husband that he needed to talk to her or that i would call her and tell her to stop calling unless its an emergency at the restaurant. we got in a fight about it cuz he said that it would be embarrassing for him if i called her. i know she likes my husband but he doesn't think so. i know that he doesn't flirt back with her but still....it makes me mad that she knows that he's married and we have a 3 1/2 month old baby. i want to call her and tell her to back the **** off but my husband would get really mad. he told me yesterday that he talked to her, but she keeps calling. should i call her or wait til i see her at the restaurant?

We have been 2gether for 12 years, i have propose(2 years ago) and he said n, i n he loves me with all his heart but i just feel so hurt that he doesnt want to commit, we have live together for 10 years. a guy says that he will call in a few days to organise a date between the two of you, but doesn't actualy do it. why on earth did he say he would if he didn't plan on doing it. shouldn't he just say that he is not interested instead of leading a girl on? maybe some men can clarify this for us ladies.

I am trying to wake up every day at 5am my husband works real late he comes home at 2-4am In the morning Im tring to prepare myself to be a nypd cop. I want to wake up 5am and do some hardcore work out but i can bearly wake up at 11am!! I think

My husband was a great guy. We got married 1and1/2 yrs ago. Since then, he's not been so nice. He's angry about something, but I don't know what and neither does he. Now he wants to move saying that will solve everything. I don't believe that. Do I stick w/ this or do I go? Moving will mean I give up my job and I am distanced from family and friends. I am Muslim, my boyfriend is Hindu. My parents won't let us get married unless he converts. He said he'd just say or go through it so we could get married. My father told him to tell his parents, and then went to his parents about it. His father is totally against it, and thinks there is a middle ground, that we should jsut get married as we are. I was accepted to Columbia, and my boyfriend moved there to be with me through it, but now I'm not going until I'm married becuase my parents won't let me. Both parents now want to see us married but my father won't let us do it until the bf converts.
To add tothis craziness, I'm 24, and he is 27. Im sitting on my butt waiting.... Help!
