a guy says that he will call in a few days to organise a date between the two of you, but doesn't actualy do it. why on earth did he say he would if he didn't plan on doing it. shouldn't he just say that he is not interested instead of leading a girl on? maybe some men can clarify this for us ladies.

OK. There is a secret pact between all men that requires us to lie to woman. That is what we are learning about in 7th grade while the have all the girls in a room teaching them about their period. So now you know.
So you see, we do not want to but we have to. For the good of all mankind.

Guys are well known for tellin' us what they THINK we want to hear. Actually what would like to hear is the truth. So if he's not going to be home in an hour, why would he say he'll be home in an hour? Because they predict that if they "tell it like it is" that we'll start bitchin' and complainin' or they won't be gettin' no bootie later on that night. Some chics will flip out if there man said he'd be home in 3 or 4 hours, but if that's the time frame that's closest to reality, then just tell me that! I'm kinda interested to see how the fellas will try and explain this one.

Some guys can't make up their own mind at the time, and saying they'll call you later gives them the time to decide. He should have at least called to say he wasn't interested, but it's easier to just let it go. It's the coward's way out of things.

Some of these guys have ADHD and juggles so many things that they don't do anytyhing they promise.

Some guys just say what they think you want to hear. And once you are out of sight you are out of mind.

Don't waste your time

Women are just the same way. Sorry but it isn't just men. it is just a weakness of character.

Why limit it to men? Women do this too.

I think sometimes people change their minds, happens to both genders.
