Awwww...lucky girl. Depends on the type of person she is. Everybody will answer what they would like. I would like a sheet of paper with 20 reasons why my hubby loves me. I'd take a gift from the heart over storebought anyday :-)

Congratulations it is so nice to hear of someone who feels like that and has so many happy years of marriage to look back on.
I would suggest any of the following would make a lovely gift for your wife:
a really good diamond ring, maybe an eternity ring, or other piece of jewellery that you know she would love.
a photo session with a professional photographer resulting in some really stunning pictures of her to go in a special album and/or be framed and displayed at home. Done well, these can bring out her beauty and will serve to remind her now and for many years that she is still a beautiful woman. Alternatively, it could be pictures of the two of you together.
take her shopping and treat her to some new things at her favourite dress shop
a special pampering day at a ladies' spa or health and beauty club, perhaps followed by a romantic dinner with you
have a cd recorded of her singing her favourite song or of you singing her favourite song especially for her.
a piece of original art of the kind that appeals to her personally
Most of these are things that will last forever.
Good luck.

What a romantic. To adore your wife after 20 years. A bit more info would be helpful. Is she outdoorsy? How about a canoe or kayaking course . Or a week long hiking trip to somewhere she has always wanted to go. If she is more of a city girl- how about a spa day for her complete with a full body deep massage or a makeover at a spa/salon? How about a hot air ballon ride complete with champagne breakfast or a unique piece of jewelry that expresses her interests. One present I once recieved was a carved "Sedna", a sea goddess because I love to swim and love the water. Wow.... Lucky lady.

Renew your vows, be the most symbolic you can! #1. Flowers. No exagerated but 3 dozen of red roses. Like a boyfriend. #2. A diamond. Give a second engagement ring as a symbol for the next 20 years. #3. Travelig. Have a honey moon trip. Put everething in the same day package!

A vacation, if you can't afford that, go to a Bed and Breakfast for a night or 2. Very romantic. Better yet send her and a girlfriend to a hotel for a couple of nights or a spa treatment together and let her have girl time without kids or her husband

Nice to hear that after all this time you still adore her....Everyone seems to go for the normal everyday what can I get, type of present ...Make a reservation to a bed and breakfast for the weekend or to a nice hotel...Room service (breakfast, lunch) then take her out for a romantic dinner (candle lite, flowers, with a table in the corner away from everyone else). With this idea and your own imagination, you can give her the best Anniversary present ever...The key to the whole thing is to plan it in advance and not let her know whats going on...To get your imagination going, pick up some small scented candles, set them up in the room, have her wait in the lobby or just outside the room ,go in and light them....Have a good bottle of wine chilling....I think you get the picture....:)....Good luck and Happy Anniversary.

Depending on her personality....how about an out of the ordinary adventurous trip to a country far far away...a place that actually changes you...minus all the high tech BS.
Goa (India)
Red Sea, Sharm (Egypt)

You should know her favorite store, buy her a $1,000 gift card and tell her to have a blast. Or just get her a $1,000 visa gift card she can use any where.
