Marriage & Divorce - 16 November 2006

Another child. I've discussed before that we have a three year old and my husband, although he's said before he thinks we SHOULD have another child, still is not quite ready to take that leap. He's afraid he won't have the patience...he's afraid that it will be too hard financially, he's afraid that it will take all his free time away...

BUT - we both agree it would be good for our little boy.

Now, my question is - what are some subtle ways I can get him to give it deeper thought. I mean, I don't want him to concede just because he knows I want it so bad. How do I make him realize how great it can be without flat out saying it? How can I make him realize it on his own...little hints, if you will.

Guys, some help? What I really need is ways to make him evaluate his thinking without letting him know that I am asking him. Does that make sense? I just want to give him a subtle push to start thinking about what he really wants.

What will you do as a wife if your husband's adult five kids from ex-wife is always asking money, and put their loan address with their father home address not their home address of course I'm staying at this house I felt disrespect. I'm already fed up from my husband because of his adult kids ages 29 to 33 years old. They are already working and have a good pay job 27 to 31 dollars per hour more than my husband's salary but financially irresponsible. But because my husband loves his kids so much he give and give like a santa claus. They even ask my husband to finance their schooling. They are no longer minor and able to finance their own schooling if they know how to save their own money. When they visit their father at home, I saw how they dress, their car they don't rent and pay bills because they're living with their mother. But when they need money that's the time they only know their father and ask for money. And here comes the Santa Claus, he gives free money.

My Mom has been married three times. I have watched her my entire life put up with inmature men. They were all great people and raised me as thier own. My Mom is in so much pain and I do not how to make her feel good. She cries and tells me how hurt she is. My Mom is my lifeline! She means more to me than anything else in my life. How can I help her!? What can a daughter do to make their mother feel happier! She is having problems with bills due to her husband going on his hunting trips and her starting her own bussiness. I am only 23 so my financial situation is not ant better. I just wish I knew how to make her smile again and love her life!

I have been married for 6 years on and off, but every time me and my wife argue she brings up the past, and it makes me feel bad. I feel she is pushing me away. Second part of the story I am in love with my best friends ex Girl friend she is also in love with me........Should I leave my wife for her. Engaged but no wedding date set yet. I wanted to get married at the time and was very happy but reality and practicalities are setting in my unique situation. I feel if I got married now I would be a failure in life. I know it sounds weird but true with particular circumstances. I need to concentrate on my career now and attaining more education so that I will attain my dream and then marry. Besides, I lost that loving feeling with my fiance and feel it might be a big mistake if I went ahead with the marriage. I just hope my fiance can find another partner in life and won't be too hurt by the breaking up of our engagement.

I've been married for 41/2 yrs and she left when I was gone. She want a divorce, I don't. I have made mistakes nothing like drinking or hitting her. Like not showing enough respect and being over protective and controlling.
I admit to the mistakes I have made, she is with a another man. But she tells me that I made her happy at one time now what?
We have been apart for about 10 days I have talked to her twice. The first call was normal, the 2nd was me whining trying to get her back It hit me that she was gone. And the home filled with 41/2yrs dont help. She left alot of her belongings behind.
Is she tired of being married or does she just need sometime to think. I'm 26 she is 22 she says she never planned anything. That she just decided to leave. She means the world to me and I would do anything to try to work it out. She ask me to not ot call. The only way I have been able to get a hold of her is through one of her friends. I would like to talk to her 1on1.

She emailed me and told me all kinds of things that I confirmed by digging in his email.. he has no idea I know and is going to a lawyer saying I am cheating and wants a divorce. I asked him to file months ago. To me this is cheating on his part.. don't worry I printed the emails between them..

I was with this guy before I married my husband. And we had plans to be together, but it didn't work out like that, so I moved on and got married to a great guy. But my heart can't totally let this other guy go. Why? We have both moved on and done other things. I feel bad. I love my husband and I want to be with him. But why can't I get this other man out of my head and heart? It is unfair to myself and my husband to feel this way. What do I do? My bf does not understand how I feel when he does not kiss me when he gets home from work or takes me out with his friend’s. I can tell that he cars a lot about me but sometimes he just does not act that way. He never says that he loves me or bay me flowers or do anything special to make me feel wanted. He just does not understand what I am saying. I love him and want things to workout, but can’t tell if it’s me or him? Am I wrong to ask him to kiss me when he gets home, or to take me out with his friends and their gf’s?

If one feels dead inside and hasn't been intimate in years, is it possible to force it so the other person doesn't leave the family? Can't raise kids alone... can't force myself to feel what I should. What do I do? I hate feeling so evil and selfish. Anyone been through anything similar? I found out quite suddenly after four years of marriage that every day after I was sleeping my husband would go upstairs and watch dirty movies on the computer. For some reason it has just completely broken my heart. I feel like he has cheated on me, but I know he hasn't. We have never had sex that often but now that he has stopped watching he wants sex a lot more. This infuriates me even more. I have known this man for so long and if I hadn't caught him in his indescretions he would have continued to deny me to pleasure himself. I am hurt and I don't know why. My husband has a problem with porn, which isn't normally an issue which would affect our children right now, however I am going to be returning to work and leaving him home with them on a regular basis. My concern is that he will spend his time online veiwing porn while I am gone and not pay attention to our kids, I am also worried they may stumble across him doing it and see it themselves. The are all under the age of 7. I know if I do lock up the computer it will cause a HUGE arguement and I will be accused of being controlling. I feel like I need to look out for my children though. What would you do in this situation?

i am married 19 yrs with a 17 and 13 yo. first marriage been married since i was 19. we own a house now that we have for sale it is not going well. we own some property 14acrs and a trailer. i am not sure yet about the divorce it depends on my h if he decides to choose me or his drinking. if it goes that way i want the property and trailer but it isnt set up yet no water no elect no sewer ect. and i dont have money it takes everything we make.. i would be willing to let him have the house and keep it or sale what ever i dont want it. my question is if the seperation takes place where do i stay? till the divorce and if one person leaves the home how do you split the bills up? i really just dont know where to turn to this is all new to me and i am totally lost... any help would be apprieciated. one more thing do i need to talk to a lawyer before i make him choose or wait til after?
